Had these speakers for a few weeks. The sound is really good, I use them mostly as speakers for my laptop using a jack lead. A lead is just so must simpler and quicker than sorting out wireless connections. I have used the Bluetooth and it works fine just simple and effective speakers.

Bought for my son for his Uni room but we set them up at home first. Really easy to set up and the sound quality is fabulous from a mobile phone source. Much better than the single portable speaker he was using before. Very impressed and Richer Sounds were able to offer a price better than anywhere else and with a better warranty. Their service is second to none. Thanks.

I bought these online and the original pair had a fault. It happens. Richer Sounds replaced them and picked up the faulty ones the very next day. Great customer service. The sound from these is great. I had originally ordered a similarly priced set from Amazon and wasn't happy with them. These are much better value for money.
Honestly i would recommend this product to anyone!! Great small but POWERFUL speakers with a good RANGE on them. Great for a flat and little home kit but these speakers do pack alot of power for studio speakers. And the Bluetooth is amazing!! .. Anywhere in the house it picks me up but only down side is that, i.e if you have connected a few devices to the speakers previously and you wanted to play music from your required device, then you have to make sure other Bluetooths devices are off .apart from that.. Great great purchase.. Thanks DjKit
With a large number of vinyl LPs and singles and a turntable gathering dust, I decided that it was time for action; suitable speakers were needed. An internet search and reading Julian Richer's column in 'The Sunday Times' led me to the Chiswick store. My choice of Pioneer DM40BT speakers was endorsed by the welcoming and helpful staff and so the purchase was made. That same Sunday afternoon, I was listening to marvellous sound from the new speakers. Really pleased.
The sound from the Pioneer Speakers is superb. They have great bass and range with options to increase bass on Windows Sound Setttings. The Bluetooth range is great as was the support and help I got from the Richer Sounds Staff at Reading. Overall amazing set of stereo speakers.
I wanted a pair of speakers to use for playing music in my lounge from an iphone via bluetooth & from an old usb turntable using phono connnections. These do both fine - sounds good. Importantly I didn't want black speakers as that would not have matched my decor. It wasn't easy to source nice looking white speakers. I have no doubt I could get a better sound - but would probably be paying far more - the sound quality (nice bass) is Ok for my needs - but that's one reason for the lack of a 5 star rating. The only other "issue" is the lack of a remote control - not a problem for me - but would be a nice to have.
PI'd previously purchased some speakers for my living room TV that were called "Edifier R1280T" and I got them open box with shipping and everything for $72 I believe. They're incredible. When I decided to buy some for my computer, I went with these. They are terrible at bass. At 50% volume it's pure distortion on anything that resembles a bass note. They sound about half as good as the other ones I just bought. These things are so overrated. Unless the green ones are better. I assumed the gold was the same quality as the green but I don't know. Just buy those other ones I spoke of. Anyone would be well satisfied with those speakers.
We upgraded from package speakers to these lovely looking speakers when buying my sons first turntable. The sound is fantastic, so much better than the basic ones we looked at with the package. Our local store gave us a great deal for buying with the turntableI. It was definitely worth paying a bit extra for these!
