Although it's on the low end spectrum of Pioneer mixers, this baby rocks!! So much fun with a low learning curve and built like a tank. Its a great buy and the FX are spectacular. I cannot recommend more highly.

It was time to upgrade to a new mixer. I wanted something that had some effects on it and still was good for scratch mixing. The Pioneer DJM450 fits the bill. Plenty of the effects and the cross fader cuts precise. Plus being able to hook up a phone or iPad to the usb is an added bonus. I highly recommend this mixer. You will not be disappointed.

The DJM450 is great for a lot of applications. Mixing at home, small parties, easy work. It's great with a two turntable or CDJ set up, and has all the necessary functionality one needs to plug and play. Effects are nice and crisp -- they function at the same level of the much more expensive pioneer mixer models.Used DMJ800's go for so cheap online now it's a bit tough to shell out for a two channel, which is my one regret. Still, I simply cannot knock the performance of this piece of equipment.

Love this mixer! I have a DJM-400 and I got this because I wanted something new. This mixer is not over complicated and easy to use which is what I really appreciate. And of course the quality is on point. If you’re looking for an inexpensive mixer that does the basics just right, this is the one to grab! Thanks as always Pioneer!
If you still use shure M44-7 cartridges, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!If you store your music on digital devices, maybe this is a great mixer for you?As an oldskool vinyl DJ looking for a replacement for my old DJM800 that has finally died, I could rant and rave for hours about how terrible this thing is. I seriously regret buying it, my first behringer mixer I bought 25ish years ago was better! To keep it polite and understandable, without going into detail and getting offensive about what is so totally unuser-friendly, useless and just a complete step backwards about it, I will just say this...If you like Bad Bunny, Marshmello, Kanye, Justin Bieber, Channel West Coast, etc, then this mixer is probably going to make you a superstar! If you like Grand Master ... I'm just glad I was smart enough to only waste money on the 2-channel instead of the 4!So, so, so regretfully hollow inside and I have had it less then a week. (Took me 8 hours to work out the basics of output without a delay and recording, as no user manual for starters) . No booth output, only Master. No left to right balance for your channels. FX are stripped down and only 3 useful ones. Blah, blah, blah!Rekordbox is also useless for vinyl djs. Don't pay for any upgraded plans, I'm sure they won't help? Audacity I way more user friendly!
Had the DJM600 then the DJM800 so I know how good this mixer is already… just needed to scale down to a 2 channel mixer and this is just absolutely PERFECT!!! Also added bonus with the Rekordbox software built in is a dream. Can’t recommend this mixer enough.
This mixer is perfect for those looking for the performance features from the DJM 900 Nexus mixers but have a small space to work with. I bring this mixer with me to a club I work with to replace the old house mixer. I am able to plug my Laptop running Rekordbox in and access all my music with ease. At other events where space is limited I can use my CDJ2000's and this mixer and have plenty of room. This is a great little 2 channel mixer.
I'm actually on my 2nd one of these. I bought one a year ago and wasn't overly fond so I got rid. After trying almost every other mixer out there, I thought I'd give this another go. My god it doesn't disappoint. Faders are sturdy, the right amount of FX, Send/return, works a charm with DVS too and it sounds powerful. I've heard people moan about no booth output, but does that really matter on a 2ch mixer?
I have 2 Technics 1210 and I was looking for a great 2 channel mixer and sound card for DVS.I’m used to playing in bars and clubs with full nexus equipment so the look of the DJM450 was instantly familiar and attractive to me.I watched endless YouTube reviews and found out that when I purchased the 450 I DID NOT need an external sound card !!!!So to get DVS working I just needed to have rekordbox on my laptop, plug the laptop into the mixer through USB lead, place the 2 x Timecode Rekordbox vinyl on my Technics, easily configure the 2 Technics on Rekordbox, and that was it. Very very easy to set up.The mixer itself is built like the larger DJM range, like a tank. The faders feel better than any XONE mixers I’ve tried, feeling firmer and smother when mixing. It ... The faders feel better than any XONE mixers I’ve tried, feeling firmer and smother when mixing. It doesn’t have all FX of nexus 900 etc but has the main FX you would want to use (echo, delay, flanger etc). The filters also sound great. All in all I love this mixer and easily a better option for DJs only using 2 decks, with no intention of buying a 3rd/4th deck.
I was in two minds whether or not to go for this mixer or the DJM 350 but I’m so glad I paid the extra as it has so much more to offer than the latter, most notably the built in sound card and also included in the box, both Pioneer DJ and Pioneer DVS software keys which are a few hundred quid on their own when bought separately. You’ll notice the rock solid build of the unit itself and quality feel of all the knobs and sliders straight away although it took me a few hours to work out how to use the sound effects and colour FX features properly it is well worth paying that extra couple of (hundred!) quid for. Awesome mixer! Can’t fault the price, communication and parcel tracking service provided by dv247.com either so buy with confidence 😉👍🏻
