The Pioneer DJ HDJ-CX Professional closed-back on-ear DJ headphones in black deliver exceptional audio performance with a lightweight, durable design optimized for extended DJ sessions. Weighing only 136 grams without the cable, these headphones feature an ergonomic stainless steel headband with a ladder-like structure for superior flexibility and resistance to tension, minimizing pressure on the head, neck, and shoulders during prolonged use. The 35mm Phi driver units with PEEK-PU-PEEK composite membranes provide a frequency range of 5 Hz to 30 kHz and handle up to 2000 mW of input power for precise monitoring of kicks, snares, and hi-hats. Bass reflex chambers enhance the low-frequency response, while sound insulation creates effective audio isolation, ensuring clear monitoring in any environment. With robust components like a steel-reinforced headband, these headphones meet the US military standard MIL-STD-810H for shock resistance and professional durability. The package includes both straight and coiled cables, a 6.35mm adapter with a holder, and replacement ear pads for long-term maintenance. Specifically designed for modern dance music mixing and monitoring, the HDJ-CX model offers a different acoustic experience compared to the HDJ-X series, featuring tighter, extended sound and a more compact build.

These sleek stylish headphones are amazing. Great addition to home DJing gear. Love the sound and the way you can slide each ear cup away from your ear whilst your cueing a track. Delivery was quick and I would recommend this purchase to everyone.

First I have to start by saying out the box I wasn't happy there was no carrying case . Second is the only positive thing the sound was good no problem hearing in the club . Rest is down hill . They never really fit right there's this loose back and forth movement on the ear cups that gets annoying you feel like there moving or there just not on right . Third is the most important after only 2 months the wires in the headphone straps went bad in the middle of my set I had no headphones and or had to jiggle stuff to get them to work . I wouldn't recommend I had my sennhisiers for 5 years I had these for two months . I'm going back .

Two months of use :/
These are definitely good for DJing from the perspective of hearing the proper queues for a good blend at the right points - clear highs and plenty of bass. Unfortunately, they are significantly lacking in mids through high-mids, so I cannot recommend these for casual listening or production - which is extremely disappointing since they are targeting the Sennheiser HD-25 headphones. They are lacking entirely too much detail, and they outright ruin anything acoustic, or anything requiring decent imaging. These are nowhere near the the quality, balance, and clarity that you'd expect from the Sennheisers. They're not the worst that I've heard, but on a scale of 1-10, the Sennheisers are an 8.75 whereas these are about a 4.25.Unless you have a specific use case for ... MoreThese are definitely good for DJing from the perspective of hearing the proper queues for a good blend at the right points - clear highs and plenty of bass. I'm still on the fence as to whether I should send them back. They simply didn't perform as well as expected, and I'm certain that any YouTube reviews declaring them as a worthy competitor to Sennheiser's HD-25 must've been sponsored by Pioneer DJ.
Great set of headphones and a good price.
