Fruity and dry, a great sipping rum. Nothing like a sweet Diplomatico or the Plantation XO but has a wonderful unique flavour bourbon drinkers will appreciate. Like the 5 year old, it's a proper rum. For me, it's too good for a daiquiri. It's already quite a fruity drink and you have to go easy on the lime. This rum works well with full fat mixers, especially good quality citrusy ones but I went back to drinking it neat quite quickly.

Way too sweet, what did they add?! Also it tastes quite young. Don’t put out a young rum and then dose it up and bottle it at 40% ABV. Makes a good rum a mixer.
