Purchased 2 prior to going on a fortnight roadtrip. Really saved on the high outback prices for diesel. The air inlet cap opposite the diesel outlet really helps when pouring but doesn't seal perfectly so slight staining forms around it after a while. Easy & fast to pour with a self contained spout. Remember to wear gloves to avoid accidental skin contact with diesel.

Good solid construction, fast emptying with breathing hole. The built in funnel is great. Store upright lads, it says in the bio, You'll have no problems with leaks etc. that others have mentioned.

I purchased this can as it looked more substantial than a similar one I bought three years ago; the spout of my first purchase ruptured and failed. I filled this new can with diesel fuel three months ago before leaving for Adelaide towing my caravan. I (fortunately) didn't have to use it as we crossed the Nullarbor; I tried pouring it into my car today now that we've arrived home. Diesel fuel went everywhere as the spout of this can popped out of its screw on retaining cap as I tried to fill the vehicle's tank. Good thing I didn't need to use it in an emergency - it is a crap design!

I bought two of these containers on a 72 hour sale and these containers have some great feature and are well built. The rear breather makes it so much easier when you want to decant out of the containers. This system is far better then other brands that have the breather built into the nozzle, etc. The carry handle is well positioned for balance. The nozzle being of solid construction makes decanting fuel out of these really easy. I will buying more of these when I get a chance. I have already gave one of the other brand fuel containers to my brother for his tractor.
Very good quality jerrycan, but cannot understand why the nozzle is stored inside as part of the seal. When used I had no gloves so hands stank with Diesel. I have disposable gloves in the car now to overcome this!
I purchased two jerry can holders from SCA then two plastic jerry cans only to find out they did not fit the jerry can holders. In fact none of the jerry cans (metal or plastic) sold by SCA fitted the holders. I was refunded my money and went elsewhere to purchase cans and holders that matched. You got a rating of 2 because the staff at SCA in Myaree were fantastic in trying to get a workable solution and providing a no fuss refund.
I bought two and both leaked, seal damaged after 1 use.Do yourself a favour and buy a fuel safe Jerry can the first time, they are twice the price and will last 100 times longer.Should be illegal to make something of such poor quality that it ends up in landfill so soon.
Feels like heavy duty plastic. Great that it has a breather to aid draining the jerry can. Not too sure about having the spout stowed inside the jerry can. Supposed, it stops stinking the place out, having the spout stowed within the jerry can.

This means that it is always on hand when you need it, and it doesn't get caked in red dust or mud or road grime. The diesel that is poured into my fuel tank is as clean and dust free as when it came from the bowser. These are great jerry cans. They are the same dimenions as standard steel jerry cans with the pouring spout stored inside the lid. The most important feature is the adjustable air vent that allows fast pouring. I have got rid of all my steel cans for that reason alone.
