the pen has a beautiful translucent blue body and gold nib... the soft fine nib is just that, softer than the fine nib... if you like a stiff nib, stick with the fine nib... if you want a little more spring in the nib, the soft fine provides that, but it's not that springy... i am very happy with the pen and recommend it...

Blue is my favorite color, and this a beautiful shade of blue. Like a true blue.I have a fine nib and it writes like a dream!It is light and well balanced, it will not cause fatigue after writing an hour or more. Ido not post but this pen does post for those of you that do. It's the BLUE and gold trim that make this stand out!...JED

This is my second 3776 Century, the first being the Bourgogne model. Both M nibs, smooth with a hint of feedback, very good flow. Always ready. The 3776 fits my hand perfectly, and the resin bodies are very beautiful. Excellent pen!
