One of the most fun play doh toys we’ve had in years! I purchased this for my 5yo. He loves it! Has played with it once a day for a week. I understand the complaints about the drizzles. They are something extra to clean up, but I just spray the table and the toys and wipe. No big deal. They add to the fun of the toy. They are not slime like. They’re more of a syrup consistency but definitely do not seem to harden on the play doh. I wish I knew how to get refills. We just throw the play doh away once it’s been drizzled on. It’s so cheap and not hard to buy a new package. My guess is that is why the cups are so small. So you aren’t tossing a whole tub of play doh each time.

We love fun new tools to play with playdoh and this kit has some really fun tools! But it also comes with chocolate and strawberry “sauce” to squirt on top, which was not the greatest idea to add to a child’s toy. The “sauce” is like super liquidy slime. The idea is fun and my kids enjoyed squirting it everywhere but also they got it EVERYWHERE and it dyes everything. The sauce is supposed to dry after five minutes so you can pull it off the play dough and maybe throw it away? But it didn’t completely dry so we were left with ruined play dough and slime tracked around the floor and stains on kids clothes. We threw out all the slime and all the play dough that had touched the slime after one time playing with the kit. I just bought my daughter the Play-Doh Kitchen Creations with Drizzle Compound. My 5YO daughter had a great time with the product for about an hour; however, I am not every happy. The Drizzle compound never set to the point that you can remove it from the regular Play-Doh. Even if left for hours, it is still sticky gel--that stains. So, all the Play-Doh and Drizzle has to be thrown away after one use. Also, there are no refills for the Drizzle Compound, which really takes away from the longevity of this toy. We have a lot of other Play-Doh sundae makers, so there is nothing special about this product except for the Drizzle. Please make a Drizzle compound (which actually sets and dries) as a refill for this kit. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't have bought this toy.

The drizzle is awful and doesn't work the way it shows. It is a runny mess. The rest of thd kit is great for the price. Just disapp in the drizzle. Only use with adult supervision and very little amounts is the key.
this is very fun to play with ! the play doh is super soft and everything works perfectly. the only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the drizzle because it’s super messy and stains the play doh. I was using white play doh and I used the red drizzle and it turned pink. But it’s okay because cause I have more. but overall I would definitely recommend !
I love hobby craft because I use them for cake supplies toy shopping and craft ideas for my 4 grandchildrenThey supply craft supplies for art ,sewing ,embroidery ,baking flower arranging and ingenious ideas for wedding decorations at a decent costHobby craft is just what it represents hobbies for allIf you have a hobby then Hobbycraft is for you
I warned my husband about this after reading the reviews but he bought it anyways. Do yourself a huge favor (unless you have older children) just throw away the chocolate and strawberry sauce — what a mess!! Otherwise the ice cream maker is fun. My almost 4 year old loves making ice cream with it. It can be a bit stiff and occasionally needs some adult help but he’s figured it out and needs my help less. He enjoys making the swirls over and over. 3 1/2 stars and mainly due to sauce—it was such a disastrous mess, not sure what they were thinking…
We just didn’t love this set - the slime sauce was a mess and stains bad. It kind of ruins the play dough. The ice cream dispenser is a less cool version of the spaghettini maker. There are just way better play dough set out there.
Got this on sale because it looked fun and was thinking it would keep my toddler preoccupied for a few hours. This was better than I expected! The play dough comes out so smoothly out of the press. My 3 yr old was doing it on his own. So many molds to add to your ice cream and I love the cup/cone variety. The drizzles are as bad IMO as the reviews make it out to be. Is it messy? Yes, but so fun for the kiddos! I just made sure he was in play clothes and he was at a table that was wipeable. I noticed the drizzle hardened on the play dough easily but it is basically slime anywhere else (the table, cups, etc) so the that’s the messy part. I just used paper towels and would rinse the set up periodically during play to keep the mess minimal (he played for 4 hours!!) it ... MoreGot this on sale because it looked fun and was thinking it would keep my toddler preoccupied for a few hours. I have already ordered a second one because my older kids will want to play with this too and we’ve almost used up all the drizzle. Also could be played with without the drizzle of course for ease. I feel like I found a gem! Definitely happy about this purchase. I even wanted to play with it! It does stain the play dough but you just mash it up and keep playing so I don’t think it really matters
This product comes with a "syrup" topping to add to your play-doh creations. It warns you that the syrup might stain. It's supposed to dry on your creation so that you can scrape it off, toss it, and retain the play-doh for future use. It does not dry. It makes a terrible mess. It's basically slime. Also, the soft-serve "press" is too hard for my children to push down all the way to make a decent creation. Total fail of a product.
