The disc tray does not stayed closed by itself. Perhaps a hinge came loose when I turned it upside down and set it on my floor, even though I did set it down gently, to disinfect it after I received it. This issue prevents my console from actually sliding the laser mechanism underneath discs to read them, at least not without some help. Fortunately, I was able to get around this issue by placing my bag of memory cards on top of the disc tray to keep it shut, thus allowing it to read discs. Awesome sauce! Love retro gaming and I can play Japanese games like Vib Ribbon!
It plays japanese ps1 and ps2 games.
Really love this and being able too play some os the Great games again.
This is a great opportunity to get some feedback on the playstation 2. It was good and the description was very helpful and I am pleased.
Great for playing the region-locked Japanese games. Works great for a system that's almost 20 years old.
The console worked great but the controller didn't work and the memory card didn't come.
