PlayStation 4 Main Unit Glacier White (HDD 1TB/CUH-2200BB02)

We have Sony interactive entertainment, PlayStation 4 at our home, and we love it. The performance is amazing. The features are really cool. We love the graphics. The graphics are so good and all of the games look really real you get a good value for your money because you can also play Blu-ray discs and DVDs from this PlayStation four so that’s another great value added to the game system. It has a really slick design that is easy to pack inside of a bag or even a laptop bag and carry along with you. You can easily hook it up to any Wi-Fi you have the password to if you’d like to hook the game system up anywhere else besides your home. I highly recommend this game system for adult, gamers and children as well. The PS4 Slim is also the most affordable option for PS4 home consoles, but there are certain compromises because of this. There’s no 4K resolution and no optical audio output, but you can work with these limitations, so the PS4 Slim offers a lot of bang for your buck. The compact size also means the console is quieter and uses less power. With all this in mind, is the PlayStation 4 Slim still a console that’s worth picking up or would those looking to game with Sony be better opting for a PS5? That console does offer a massive jump in power over the PS4 and, though there are shortages, it's going to be easier to find than the now discontinued mid-gen upgrade PS4 Pro. Is the PS4 Slim better than the PS4 Pro? When it comes to specs, no. It's the PS4 Pro that's the superior console. It offers you 'true' 4K gaming, which is difficult to get on other devices without compromising. It's also bulkier on the outside and on the inside, the GPU is a great deal faster. Although the CPU is architecturally similar, it's been clocked at a faster speed. But that doesn't necessarily mean you should buy one. The PS4 Pro is better for those who want a premium gaming experience and have a 4K TV. If you don't have a 4K TV or money to spare, the PS4 Slim might be better for you.

I read other reviews before I made my purchase. I was also aware of the consoles being refurbished. I was expecting a pawn shop quality console. And I would have been OK with that. What I was sent seems to be a brand new PS4 and controller.. If this unit has truly been refurbished, it was repaired before it was ever sold. Or it simply wouldn't activate when the first person purchased it. Then they returned it. I am totally satisfied with my purchase. It looks factory fresh. No scratches or fingerprints on the console or controller. Smudge free and untouched. Still even had sticky clear protectant on the top sensor area of console and controller. This is way more than I expected. Thank you to the seller. You're the best! Package arrived 2 days early. I haven't played ... MoreI read other reviews before I made my purchase. I have been using Sony products for as long as I can remember. This is one of my favorites. I like a lot of the games it comes with. This model came with the controller and a wireless keyboard. I like to use the keyboard for playing music. I haven’t had any problems with this model yet. It has its own unique design and cools it self down aswell. The graphics are incredible. I’ve been using this model for years now and it’s still working great. The quality of the controller it comes with is good to use. But I just wanted one that had more options. That’s why I got the duel shock with it. I like that the library on this model holds multiple games at once and I can even watch tv or mirror my phone and laptop. I can also use it on any tv as long as it has a HDMI cable ... MoreI have been using Sony products for as long as I can remember. This is one of my favorites. I like a lot of the games it comes with. I have been a PlayStation user since the beginning. Most of my electronics on Sony anyway. But this review is about the PlayStation 4 so I will stick with that. At the time this came out, I wanted it so bad but unfortunately could not afford it, my best friend, who unfortunately passed away a couple years ago (I miss him every day 😥), worked with me at a retail Verizon Wireless Store. Being best friends, we were the type that wouldn't think anything of it if either of us said "hey let me borrow your car keys real quick". When he said this to me I didn't give it a second thought until.... I had to go in my trunk for something. And there it was.. I was surprised, shocked, elated, threw the moon, that I actually completely forgot what I originally went in my trunk ... MoreI have been a PlayStation user since the beginning. When he said this to me I didn't give it a second thought until.... I had to go in my trunk for something. And there it was.. I was surprised, shocked, elated, threw the moon, that I actually completely forgot what I originally went in my trunk for. But there it was, a brand new PlayStation 4, and not just the console, he purchased the Black Ops bundle.. as well as an extra controller. God rest his soul. His heart was bigger than anyone I know. I was so excited to hook it up and play that once I got home from work I did just that. The best part is I am a single mom to a now 11 year old son, who at that time was 5. So selfishly, he was 5, I let him watch (don't judge me people) 😂🤣.. Instantaneously I was hooked. This was a big jump up from the PS3, graphics were better, processor was better. Oh, and my best friend was not the type to go 'small' with anything, so of course he bought me the one with the most storage. I loved the controller interaction with the different games. Fast forward to today, being that my son is 11, it is not in his room, I have since became sick over the past 5 years with some serious chronic illnesses and my son is now a very big gamer. Not going to lie, I owe my son's gamer qualities to my best friend bc he is definitely the one that got him started. We have the PlayStation plus membership, as well as an external hard drive and 5 years of having the console, I have had zero issues. I do want the PS5, but I am having a hard time parting with my PS4 for obvious reasons, plus being on disability I cannot afford the PS5 at the moment. But honestly, there is no need. My PS4 like I said, is working great, but I am a nerd and love new tech so FOMO in general I think contributes to me wanting to get the PS5. But my system hasn't overheated, I've had no issues with the console, hooking up headsets, playing games both physical and downloaded. Bottom line, after an extremely long review, this console definitely deserves a 5 out of 5. If anyone is on the fence and not sure which to get, get the PS4!!

Dangerous and sharp

My reveiw is based simply on the design of the ps4. Its a game console with super sharp edges and its heavy too. I get the a game console is gonna be heavy but the thing stands upright i cant helo but feel expecially when children are playing that its an accident waiting to happen. My 9 year old son recently was gofted a playstation 4 for his birthday and he has had it a total of 2 weeks and today this accident happend. He was trying to plug the hdmi cord into the vack since he alternates between his favored xbox and his new ps4. When the the Ps4 fell and yhe sharp side landed on his thigh right above the knee. Instantly a bruise started to form and some of the skin was rubbed open abraided like. I took pics obviously. Now we dont have a gaming station the xbox and the ps4 sit on the dresser below the tv maybe if we had one this wouldnt have happended but it did now he is sad hurt and all he was trying to do was play a game. Why are these designed this way? I understand having them stand tall would maje it eaiser to vent excess heat instead of letting it build up but these edges are sharp! I was in the room when this happend he wasnt doing anything wrong but trying to pull the hdmi cord out of the ps4 to put into the xbox. I joked around with him trying to get a smile said that maybe the ps4 heard him saying that the xbox was a superior gaming console. But his response was only that he had taken it back after playing his first game.

For experience I’ve ever had purchasing a product

First off, not only was the package four days late. But the controller was cracked from one side to the other, the joystick had sticky stuff on them and dog hair attached. The overall PlayStation did not look like it worked. the packaging was disgusting. It was really devastating to me because I didn’t even realize it’s coming from a third-party seller, and just the overall Walmart experience I had ended up making me cry. I ended up purchasing a brand new one from Amazon and it will be arriving tomorrow. It’s better to spend a couple of extra bucks buying brand new. Without the third party crap.
