As someone who has owned the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro for over a year, I can confidently say that it is a fantastic gaming console that delivers stunning graphics and an immersive gaming experience. The first game I played on my PS4 Pro was God of War, and I was blown away by the graphics and gameplay. The game looked incredible on my 4K TV, and the detail and realism of the characters and environments were impressive. The combat system was smooth and intuitive, and the story was captivating. It was clear that the PS4 Pro was built to handle games of this caliber. Another game that I thoroughly enjoyed on the PS4 Pro was Horizon Zero Dawn. The open-world environment was beautifully crafted, and the graphics were breathtaking. The game mechanics were innovative, and the combat system was challenging but rewarding. It was clear that the PS4 Pro's hardware was being put to good use to create a truly immersive gaming experience. In terms of hardware, the PS4 Pro is solidly built, with a sleek and modern design that looks great in any living room. The console runs quietly and smoothly, even when playing games that require a lot of processing power. The user interface is easy to navigate, and the controller feels comfortable and responsive in your hands. One thing to note is that the PS4 Pro does not come with a 4K Blu-ray player, which may be a downside for some gamers who are looking for a complete entertainment system. However, the console does offer a wide range of streaming services, including Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, which makes up for this. Overall, I highly recommend the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro to any avid gamer looking for a top-of-the-line gaming console. With its impressive hardware and immersive gaming experience, it's the perfect choice for anyone who wants to take their gaming to the next level.

A few years ago, the PlayStation 4 Pro was a great upgrade from the PlayStation 3. It loaded games so much faster, which is always a plus! The picture clarity is amazing, everything is so vibrant, especially paired with a 4k tv. We cancelled our cable a few years ago, we stream all of our tv through our PlayStations, so we have multiple in our house. We still have our PlayStation 3 and all of the games that go with it, it’s a shame the PS4 doesn’t have backwards compatibility. I may set up the PS3 in our 4th graders room this summer to get some use out of it still. We are definitely a PlayStation family. We’ve since upgraded two rooms to PS5’s, but there are still PS4’s still being used. They are still a great choice for someone looking to buy a console.

Best console in the market right now for the latest games. Mass 1TB storage drive for large download capacity. You can download many games on it without having to worry about running out of storage. The ps4 Pro was designed to support 4K graphics so you can willfully enjoy your favorite TV shows and Games at your finger tips. This is the top tier of all ps4 console editions because of its upgrade from the past editions. The games render way better on the ps4 pro than the normal ps4 or the ps4 slim. Highly recommend this console if your looking for a great gaming platform to enjoy or just entertainment such as hulu netflix etc….

I love this console! It is very quick, has lots of storage, lots of variables of games, and so much more! Great quality! I got this product about 2 years ago and have used it ever since! It's one of my main things to do as entertainment. I 100% recommend this product to everyone because although the ps5 is out now it's still a great console and as much fun! Before I got it I would probably want to know how long the controllers last because I RAGE a LOT! So I had to get a new one every month which was pricey. Other than that it's an amazing console and I suggest it to all!
This is an okay console for gaming and exclusives but if you want a more stable experience the Xbox one x is more consistent when it comes to even basic things such as being able to connect to the internet. This is my second PlayStation and it literally will not connect to my WiFi no matter how much I trouble shoot, change my DNS settings, attempt to set it up with WPS. This console is a serious frustration and let down when it comes to just connecting to the internet. Unless you can hardline your PlayStation I probably wouldn’t recommend this console for online gaming, it’s quite terrible about randomly disconnecting even in those rare instances it works as it’s supposed to. Sony seriously oversells this console and basically lies on their website about it being a 4K gaming console. It upscales to 4K with checkerboarding, which is hardly true 4K. If I could go back I’d save my money. PlayStation is more and more subpar as the generations progress. Take for instance the PlayStation 5 consoles aren’t even all the same, some have a different number of fan blades causing some consoles to be way louder than others. Pretty unacceptable from a corporation with the resources like Sony has. Pathetic console performance overall and sub par internet capabilities. Definitely not worth $400
This is my 3rd ps4 and will be my last. Gets hot too fast like real fast. I'm on for an hour and it starts to freeze and this isn't the only concern when it comes to the ps4. Every ps4 I've had has the same issue's and I've spent way too much cash on Sony and it feels like this is a MONEY grab since I Keep having to get repairs and replacements for the PS4 and frankly it's getting old. let me get into the PS4 issue's. Gets way too hot 🔥, freezes, crashes & doesn't last long until it NEEDS replaced or repairs. Rest mode is a mess and downloading can cut off while in rest mode and the downloading and copying nonsince is 🐌 slow... Like 16+ hour's if your internet isn't fast. the airflow clogs easily compared to my ps2 and xbox360 and the ps4 sounds like an airplane in turbulence. The storage gets corrupt easily if you have too many thing's going on the ps4. The warranty for the PS4 only lasts a short while and it doesn't cover the majority of issue's this console has and if you buy digital game's don't expect a refund after the 14 day time line. Why do console warranties only last a year is beyond me and most consoles need work after two years realistically. it would be nice to have a 7 year warranty on these consoles because apparently their life span is supposed to be 7 years with my ps4s it's been like 1 1/2 year's until issues come up. I hardly play on my ps4 and I deeply regret buying this console and getting digial game's That I can't get money back for. Before you buy any gaming systems do your homework. I sure didn't know this was going to cost me so much for so little joy.
Took a chance to to order a refurbished PS4. I normally have had good experience with refurbed items, but not this time. Item arrived fine with everything. Cables wrapped up, console was in a packaged sleeveConsole started up, but this is when the issues started:Checked and made sure console was up to date1) Very slow when performing any actions in the menu2) Controller wired. Very laggy3) PS Store would never load after 5min of waiting4) Loaded the Playroom game and it froze for about 1-2min every 2-3 seconds. Extremely painful to endureVery sad, I have to return this. I do not recommend wasting your time on these refurbished units
I've gotten 2 Xbox one X from this 232 inc refurb-company. And they have been mint, and run very well (and quiet). Decided okay I'll get a Pro since mine bit the dust a while back, it was a God Of War SE. The top came off when I picked it up, it looked like my cats had been on top of it, scratched up horribly. It ran so loud I had to shut it off twice because I really thought it was going to just blow up. The wireless didn't work, and it just felt like a used piece of junk overall. Not saying they're all like that, but they are older consoles. So I wasn't surprised as they don't sell the newer quieter models from about 2018 or so with the small plugs. So be cautious if you get one, luckily you're local Target will return it no problem.
I purchased a PS4 PRO console at the beginning 2019. Its one of the best consoles I have owned, but when you have a mechanical or mainboard fault the pain begins. The Blu-Ray drive failed 11/02/2022. I took the console to a local video console repairer in Brisbane after 2 weeks I found out that the PRO console of mine is unrepairable. This is due to a failure on a circuit board which is located in the Blu-Ray drive itself. The issue is you can't replace the Blue-Ray with a new one as there are also chips on the mainboard which only recognize the original Blue-Ray drive, so replacing it with a new drive won't work as the console won't detect the disks. I basically have a $460 paperweight now. The only way in can be repaired is to completely replace the mainboard with ... MoreI purchased a PS4 PRO console at the beginning 2019. I basically have a $460 paperweight now. The only way in can be repaired is to completely replace the mainboard with a Blue-Ray that is a matched pair to the mainboard. I find it utterly ridiculous that you can't replace the drive on the PS4 PRO with a new one. I still have my original PlayStation console from 1996. I have had the drive and laser replaced a number of times over the years with no issue. This is nothing more that purposeful built-in redundancy to make the consumer throw the console in the bin and buy a new one. Not good Sony.
I love my ps4 pro it arrived earlier then i expected. It did came used though with dust and scratches on it and it still works. One part came off the back of the console but i don't care and i was able to play Resident Evil Remake and i can definitely noticed the difference from the slim to the pro. The gameplay is much smoother and got higher frame rates so i tried both resolution and framerate mode and it's pretty much the same. The framerate mode you play in 4k not 1080p so google lied about that cause i took a screenshot of Leon Kennedy using framerate mode and it's 4K image quality. The fan was a little loud when playing RE4R and i was used to a loud xbox 360 fan.
