Playstation 5 Pulse 3D Wireless Headset (PS5)

I have zero complaints about the audio quality. The 3D sound effects in my PS5 games are a game-changing experience, and I can't go back to using my TV speakers after experiencing this. While some may not like the fact that the battery life is rated at just 12 hours (probably less in real world conditions), my play sessions are not long enough for this to be a problem. I also love how the mic is integrated into the structure instead of being an "arm" like on most headsets. It looks cool and also means the mic won't accidentally dip into my food if I eat with the headset on.However, as a PC/Mac headset, the Pulse 3D leaves a lot to be desired for the following reasons:- It does not have Bluetooth, so if you want to use it wirelessly with both your console and ... MoreI have zero complaints about the audio quality. If I'm in a work call, I can't venture too far from my desk without the audio cutting off. Simply walking out of the room immediately breaks the connectionIn terms of ergonomics, the Pulse 3D headset is just ok. I appreciate the presence of the physical controls, but the way they are designed makes "blind" operation a bit tricky. The volume rocker and chat/game rocker have the exact same shape, so if you don't remember their positions, you'll find yourself hitting the wrong switch very often. The ear cups are comfortable, but I find that they press against my glasses a little too hard.Overall, as a PS5 headset, this gets the job done, but only as a PS5 headset. I do not recommend using it on any other devices. The Xbox Wireless Headset (which I also own) is much better if you also wish to connect to a phone or a PC/Mac.

This headset works especially well with the PS5, but only adequate with a PC. People looking for a universal headset between consoles/PC should look elsewhere. If you're getting this for PS5, it's be good. Controls are on the left ear and will take some getting use to pressing and not looking at the controls. The whole headset is plastic. Not one sight of metal on the headset except for the ports for cables. The one blatant weakness of this headset (it's a deal-breaker), is the fact that it can only fit one size. Those with a smaller head will have gaps and outside sound will enter. For those with too large of a head, the band that sits on top of your head will give you a bit of headache after a while as the stretch is a little too strong. That same band is also made out of that soft plastic that gets sticky after a year or two after use.Good luck.

Great adaptability to voice/game audio. The functionality with the Playstation is fantastic with on screen indicators when you increase volume, mute, or turn on/off the headphones. Connectivity is a bit patchy sometimes, not sure why. It may be due to my ps4, haven't tested it on any other devices yet.All in, clarity of sound is on par with what you would expect from Sony. Directional sound is spot on.Comfortable for several hours of use. And battery lasts from 6 to 8 hours.Would suggest for anyone looking for reasonably priced earphones that are wireless.
