Playstation Alarm Clock

i bought this for my 9yr son, he absolutely loved it. i find the light a bit bright at night but he actually likes it as it acts like a night light and he can see the time when he wakes on these dark winter mornings. it was easy to set time and date. the time is not always clear depending on the angle, but my son thinks it’s brilliant in every way!

Absolute waste of money

Don't bother!! So quiet it couldn't wake anyone even if they slept with it on their pillow. Beeps (barely) for exactly 1 minute, then turns itself off - not to snooze, full alarm off.Can't even return as packaging damaged during opening.Very unimpressed.

Bargain

Brought for XmasOther shops and even Amazon this same clock is £20-£30 Aldi what a bargain.

Good but bright

Pleased with the item overall, but it is ridiculously bright, I can see the benefit with a younger recipient as a nightlight as per another review, but way too bright for our room, had to put something over it to dim it down! Should be adjustable.

Great for gaming kids

Looks exactly the same as a playstation controller and my daughter loves that you have to press the X or O to stop the alarm!

I bought this as it looked pretty cool for a alarm clock. I like that the buttons have some functionality like a real controller although not sure where they got that it makes old game noises as it only beeps when the alarm goes off other than that it's a nice thing to have.

PlayStation Alarm Clock

The mould for the controller's likeness is quite good, a bit rough here and there but definitely looks like a Dualshock 4 at a glance. The only buttons that actually work are the D-Pad and the action buttons, so it would have been nice had the other buttons/triggers/sticks worked as well. The display is not exceptional especially in some viewing angles, but it's clear enough to see even from a distance. All in all it's a nice addition to any man-cave and PlayStation setup.

Whilst a fairly good copy of the Playstation controller the quality leaves a lot to be desired, for the price I'd expect it to be a lot higher quality. From the second you take it out of the box (which looks quite good) it feels cheap and plasticky. With the lack of a rubber pad on the base (just the plastic) it slides around too easy. The graphics on the buttons are off centered and squiff whilst the colours of these and the other text is muted / dull and not as vibrant as the pictures show (spot light photography ?) The clock side is very easy to setup though the display has a poor viewing angle and you have to almost look at it direct on or else the screen washes out. Too expensive for how cheap it is.

looks great but only usb plug in

I bought this for my sons birthday as a cool alarm clock. My only gripe is its only usb plug in. Not batteries or rechargeable. I didnt realise this at the time until opening packaging as nothing stated on the box, So due to plug sockets in my sons bedroom I have had to re arrange furniture stand clock near socket. Or maybe buy a usb extension, just in case ( I have now ordered one ) Easy to set and display is quite bright when lights off
