I’ve been using these tampons since they came out. I go back n forth with what I use sometimes due to what my store has on hand when I need them cause I never seem to buy them ahead of time 🫣😅 I will say I’ve been a playtex user since I started using tampons as a teenager. I started with gentle glide (back when they used to be mainly all scented) and loved using them. They’re comfortable and reliable. They don’t hurt. They have a plastic applicator. I swapped to sport here or there when gentle glide was sold out or didn’t have my preferred level of protection. I feel like the sport fit different… if that makes sense. They feel shorter and wider almost than the gentle glide. Which may or may not always be better. Depends on your body. The tampons have a 360 degree sport level protection meaning it is designed to fit and adjust to the wearers every move. The tampons have a flex fit technology which are flexible interlocking fibers that work quickly to trap and stop leaks. The anti-leak back up layer the tampons have are an added layer of protection for sneaky leaks. The tampon applicator has a no-slip grip that is comfortable to hold and easy to use. They also expand in a unique way that seems to prevent leaks much better than other brands. I like that the box came with two kinds of tampons (regular and super) so that I can use it for my full cycle where some days the flow is lighter or heavier. Usually I would need to buy two packs to accommodate for my light and heavy days so it's great that it's a two in one product.I appreciate the individual packaging which is made of a slipper paper like material instead of the regular brand that I use which has moved to microfibre which I think the Playtex packaging is more sanitary especially when it's stored. I like the applicator is easy to use and straightforward. Brands I've used have moved to a more complicated applicator which involves pushing and pulling to insert but I've always enjoyed the applicator that Playtex uses. First of all, starting with the plastic wrapping on the tampon, I found it quite easy to open but I think that the wrapping could be way more discret ( for example just 1 color ) so that it is not the first thing one sees when I open my purse in front of them! I also did not appreciate that it is not possible to close back the wrapping after opening it. Some brands of tampons do have a sticky opening that make it easy to put and seal the applicator back in the wrapping after use but it was not the case with that product.I did really like my experience using the tampon itself! It was the easiest tampon to insert and it did absorb very well on day 3 on my period. I was able to keep it in for about 5 hours and did not experience any leak. This is great because I can't begin to tell you how many of the paper wrapped tampons have found their way out of their wrappers leaving me to fish them from the bottom of my purse and dispose of them. This is such an incredible waste of money. It also really sucks when you think you still have an intact tampon in your purse only to find out at the worst possible time you don’t. So right out of the gate i was impressed.I usually purchase the super or super plus tampons depending on which brand I buy.
