I think the table is great overall, and my toddler loves to use it every day. The flaws are with the waterproof blue lining, and there are splits in 3 corners, so it is not fit for the purpose of filling water. The other flaw is that there were too many cracks in the wood, so we will need to use glue to stick it together. One thing I would change is to have pre-drilled holes to help guiding into place and to keep the table even.

Paid £166.99 for it and I'm sorry but it's just not worth the money. The wood is full of splinters and knots. I know that this is the nature of wood but to sell this for a toddlers sand tray is very dangerous in my eyes. I'm sure it could have been made to a higher standard for the same cost. I've had to sand edges and fill in holes before I can let my little grandson play with it. I would have returned it but I didn't want to disappoint my grandson. I could have made one better myself and for half the price. Don't waste your money on this.

Bought for the grandchildren. It is good quality and nicely finished. I found it very hard to screw together as the wood is so hard and had to give up and get my husband to do it. I didn't like the idea of screwing the plastic liner for the water to the bench so left it off, I think a plastic removable tray would be better. I thought it was a bit shallow but found it was deep enough and used less sand. I have bought a waterproof bench cover to stop it getting waterlogged when it rains. It kept them quiet and playing nicely for hours as soon as they saw it so it was worth the money.
My kiddo was so excited to get this table. We’ve had it about three years now, and we would definitely not buy it again. After being outside and getting rained on, the wood completely warped, and the lid will not longer fit on properly. We tried adjusting it, but to no avail. If you’re looking for something that will hold up well in Canadian weather and winters, this is not it.It’s also a nightmare to empty and clean. There is no easy way to do it. The sand and water go in separate recesses in the table, which is fine, but the recessed don’t have lift out containers. My kiddo loves it still, but we will be replacing it with something else this year.
It’s really great. The kids are loving the sand table. We didn’t install the water part we just knew our toddler would just throw all the sand in the water. It’s fairly simple to set up and fits a lot of sand using both sides. It closes up very nicely although definitely not waterproof. We just use a mat to put on top to keep the water out. I’m 5’4 and had no trouble sitting with the kids and playing. Great value since we got it on sale would have grabbed another one if things didn’t close due to covid
It’s okay, however there a minimal pre-drilled holes so lining things up was super difficult and you have to keep checking to make sure it’s not wonky as you have to guess where to drill the pieces in. The pieces also weren’t labelled so you have to spend some time working out which piece is what. Frustrating to build but seems to look good once done.
Surfside wooden sand and water picnic table are a must have!🙌It was so straight forward and easy to assemble, which took no time at all! The quality is fantastic too.The kids are completely obsessed with the endless hours of fun.
Not only did we have issues putting it together because there were no guide holes to support aligning pieces of wood, some wood was splitting which we needed replacements for (wrong ones sent and needed to wait for another delivery) and now the wood is going mouldy!! We’ve had it up since 31st August (our daughter’s birthday). Sand has been left in it which I assumed would be ok. We have t read anywhere that we should treat the wood so not sure why or what is going on. Quite disappointed to be honest!
Daughter loves her table. Unfortunately, some of the wood is in need of sanding. Daughter cut her leg climbing out, so would be worth checking for frayed wood prior to use. Did take a lot longer to put together than anticipated as it was 'completely' flat packed. For the price, you couldn't find better.
