Plum Store It Wooden Sand Pit

The kids love the sandpit. Just the right size.The mud kitchen took all day to put together and the timber is quite warped in some places making construction a little difficult. But the kids are enjoying playing with it.

Such a handy size and love the storage function along with the lid to keep sand sanitary

Got this really discounted and it’s great. Son loves it and it looks nicer than the plastic ones in the garden. Seems sturdy and the little seats and storage are great for allowing him to sit and play and also store sandy toys neatly once playtime over

My Review for Plum Play Store-It Wooden Sandpit

I bought this thinking it had a proper lid but it’s just a piece of tarpaulin so that’s disappointing - but the actual sandpit is really good the - right size for our small garden and somewhere to store sand toys.

Perfect for little ones!

This sand pit is great! Perfect size, easy to build, good quality wood. The only disappointment for me is a bottom part which I thought will be from stronger material

Poor quality

This item has just arrived today, it has taken me over 6 hours to put together and still isn’t finished.The wood splits when the screws are placed into the wood, and lots of the pieces don't line up correctly.Im really disappointed with this item, i’be wanted it for a long time but to say how much i paid its a flimsy cheaply made item.

Practical & sturdy design.

Very pleased with this sandpit and like the fact it's wooden rather than plastic. Both the corner seats and the storage box provide ideal spots for a toddler to sit and play. The only negative is I found it was quite easy to mistake which support bar section to use where, so ended up creating holes in the wrong place.

Sandpit pitfalls

This has to be the biggest mistake, the groundsheet needed stapling to the surround and we have had to make a wooden bottom for it. the plastic cover has two large holes in the middle I presume they are air holes but after the recent heavy rain it meant they let in water to the sand so we are now having to make a suitable cover also. I wish I had just bought a cheaper plastic sandpit. the only good points are the store for buckets and spades and little seats on the side.

so disappointing

I bought this for my sons 1st birthday and was really looking forward to him playing in it but unfortunately it is not suitable at all, the wood has very sharp edges and has frayed. The bottom of the sand pit is just material which moves and the sand escapes round the sides and the cover doesn't fit the sand pit at all so unless i change the sand every time he wants to play it is useless as the rain and the cats can get into it!! Waste of money and time building it!!

useless cover

This sandbox comes with a useless cover. There are two holes in it that syphon the rain water in, soaking the sand. We haven’t been able to use the sandbox at all this summer because the sand is wet through to the bottom!
