Very comfortable. They keep everything in, and lifted. I feel confident with them on. Wash & dry the same as my regular clothes. I don't use hot water on anything I wear. Luke warm, and I do dry them in the dryer. Same not overly hot. They look great for years.

Breast Cancer in 1996 ended up eliminating my left breast and I have never gone for reconstruction. I've worn "free" mastectomy bras via the Red Cross for many years. I've also worn some pullover sport bras, all with my prosthetic resting within the left bra cup. I took a chance buying these lovely bras and guess what GALS,if you're in the same boat as I am, these bras arewonderful!!! Using the front hooks and/or strap hooks is such a great feature! I'm ready to buy up a few more colors soon. Try them, they hold my prosthetic nice and snug with no fear of falling out even with no pocket to put it in.

It feels good to have all around support. Since there's more to it than a regular bra, it tends to stay in place better instead of sliding or rolling up constantly. Only negative is the material is rather scratchy along the edges and the hooks dig into you at the bottom. Take note that the straps aren't very adjustable. They are adjusted by 2 hook placements 1" apart, not elastic, so they are an either/or length not a sliding scale. The last hook worked for me though. Overall, the amount of support far outweighs the shortcomings.

I FINALLY found a front closing cotton bra that fits me - and is comfortable!! I’ve looked and looked in several on-line web sites, and ordered way too many that had to be returned because they didn’t fit right. When I saw these, I was skeptical because of all my bad luck in the past with bras not fitting right. However, these are PERFECT!! And so comfortable that I don’t even know I have them on! A big plus - they’re easy to fasten. It’s a win-win all the way around. I’ll be ordering more, that’s for sure!
I am so happy with the bras I bought (3 of them)! All of them are the same size and it has been so long since I bought a bra that I had to rely on the instructions in the catalog to measure. I was nervous because I had done that before with bad results. The fit is excellent! The comfort is something else that I was nervous about, but they're great. No underwires, but great support! Front closure is secure and does not open up when I have to move. Freedom of movement, as well as comfort is so important to me and I am very impressed. The elastic design around the back and sides gently reminds and assists my posture without being too stiff or uncomfortable. An excellent value in a great product.
12/19/22 I would recommend that if you are a short person under 5'. and very heavy breasted: order a cup size larger. For my experience with this product, It does nothing for posture support but has terrible frontage overspill and no beauty shape. I have done much better with a Playtex brand of same style. In case your curious I ordered a 40DD. just saddens me for it was very pretty print and style. I guess it is how we learn.
This bra is more comfortable on my back than others I've worn. The worst part is the row of hooks in the front. As I try to close one set of hooks, another set comes undone. After trying for several minutes, I gave up and went back to my less comfortable bra. The other problem I found was that the cups flatten and push everything up. I ordered a G cup, so this should not have been an issue.
The bra at first was stiff like someone had soaked the cotton in plastic, and it smelled chemical. I returned two immediately. Kept one. The hooks in front and on the straps were wrong somehow, when I would lean or move the who front would pop open, or a strap woul co me unhooked. I carefully pinched each hook tightly closed which helped some. The body of the bra was on the small side, but when letting out the front hooks and strap hooks to the most loose, there was not enough backing behind the hooks and it was stiff and irritating. They need to change the shape and reduce the number of hooks down the front so the bra can move with you better. Was definitely not the bra for me. Gave the two I didn't return away.
I own 8 of these bras. I wear a 44 DDD. The cup size is a little big compared to other bras I own. The one thing I don't like about it is that the underarm area goes up to high and is kind of uncomfortable (of course this just might be a me thing hence the reason for four stars). I do like the way the back of the bra is made and how that part feels. It does have 8 hooks in the front which makes it easier to fasten and stay closed and 3 different adjustable shoulder straps. Its cotton so wash and hang to dry if you don't want it to shrink because it will. The quality of the fabric is very good and heavy duty. Over all I would recommend.
I ordered the wrong size. I have trouble purchasing bras because the left breast is so much larger than the right and I should remember when ordering to get the next size up. It is very comfortable in the straps and does help to remind me to keep my shoulders back for better posture. I have washed it several times and it is still soft. I also like the fact that the straps are adjustable in the front with hook and eyes so there is no slippage with the straps once you adjust them.
