This is not the cheapest stock 4070 TI but it has the beefiest stock cooler in its price class. You get the triple slot cooler that will keep this cool at around 65 C at peak temp. At stock, I was able to hit 2850 mhz. I was also able to undervolt to 1050mv and retain the max stock speed while over clocking the RAM by +1000mhz.There’s no need to purchase the overclocked versions of any other model for extra money. This one will overclock easily with its cooler. Due to how efficient the architecture is, I recommend undervolting while keeping the max stock clock (which will be way highest than Nvidia’s base boost of 2625mhz). My card came running at 2850mhz but your mileage may vary.

The card is great so far, it is a huge performance leap over the 1070 I had before and will likely last me close to a decade. The price is a bit much, but it was worth it for me to get it now instead of having to wait a year or two just to save a hundred dollars. The RGB is nice while not being over the top. The PNY overclocking and RGB tool seems a little finicky but still works well. The size of the card compared to other brands is a huge bonus too because with how big these cards are, just the little bit extra space it gives the power adapter against the side panel is great. The cooling is also great. I don't think I've ever gone over 70C, but I haven't really paid attention to it past my initial install.Overall, fantastic card that I am really happy with.

I bought a Ryzen 7700X, 32GB DDR5 5600, X670 Asus P-Wifi motherboard and this 4080 for 2500 (its still for sale on the website if you dont have the space to build due to not enough space,or dont want to, or cant) The GPU is the standout coming from a 3070 its just a world of difference. Everyone was apparently having issues with 8GB cards and I actually started play The Last Of Us Part 1 on day 1 not realizing it was pre-installing shaders while i was playing. The thing just brute forces games into submission . Did some research on PNY and they make a lot of Nvidia Professional cards for them and are know for high quality although this is just a reference model it does have a tripple slot bracket which helps with sag the more expensive Gigabyte model doesnt. I'm reviewing this with the premise of the actual card itself, ignoring price (for now). The 4080 is genuinely a really impressive card, coming from a 3090 that unfortunately died, this card runs insanely efficient in comparison to my 3090. On idle, it sips 7 watts in comparison to 40 ~ 70 idle with my 3090. The performance uplift from last generation is very impressive, considering how this thing sips power. I am able to finally enjoy the few raytraced games I do play at better frames and better quality, which is a cool bonus. Considering how much smaller the physical die is from the 4090 and 3090, the performance is genuinely impressive, it also has the additional benefit of not making my room a sauna after playing for extended sessions, staying very cool under ... MoreI'm reviewing this with the premise of the actual card itself, ignoring price (for now). I am able to finally enjoy the few raytraced games I do play at better frames and better quality, which is a cool bonus. Considering how much smaller the physical die is from the 4090 and 3090, the performance is genuinely impressive, it also has the additional benefit of not making my room a sauna after playing for extended sessions, staying very cool under full load consuming 315~ watts at only 60C under full load! However, this is the extent where I can give this card props for how efficient and genuinely impressive the tech is, the fault really lies at nvidia's feet for pricing this GPU so atrociously, to where even though I spent my money because I needed a replacement for my dead 3090, I will not be keeping this card. I cannot in good conscious keep this GPU because of the insane price it's going for. I am actually really upset because I do not NEED a 4090, and to be very honest I would have kept it because for the insane performance it can give with the efficiency it provides is genuinely great. But for an additional 300 ~ 400 dollars, gives the 4090 gives the same delta of performance that the 4080 had from a 3080ti to it's own sibling. The upsell to a 4090 is too good because of the terrible pricing and the inherent zero value of this product is why I could not in good conscience recommend this GPU or keep it either. I loved using it, but I will not stick up for terrible launch pricing, it's a shame my 3090 kicked the bucket because I'd have no need to upgrade. Also, this PNY variant card runs really well, no issues and is very big but it cools really well, the boost clock is at the rated advertised 2550MHz.To wrap things up here's a TL;DR. Phenomenal GPU for what it is and what it can accomplish, downright terrible price where I would not purchase the GPU for the zero value it provides generationally over the 30 series. If it wasn't for me being close to a Micro Center for the downright excellent service they provide, I wouldn't have bought this GPU at all. Terrific card, terrible pricing. The rating is for the card itself, not the pricing, the card didn't obviously price itself nvidia did. Still knocked off a star for the egregious price though, hopefully this changes in the future.
The new Love-lace gpu technology hasconnectionproblems on hardware that hasn't been released upto around the release of these cards. For example motherboards don't become obsolete but extremelydifficult to work with if they were released before love lace. Some motherboards fixed this with bios updates but people still experienced driver issues. With updates it has been getting better but still not 100% good to go sadly. Even some lovelace laptops have experienced this issue and that's really bad. For the same money as of right now I believe AMD will give a superior experience especially after the new driver updates giving increased performance .I feel like I got duped this time by team Green.
This beast has 7 heat pipes and triple 100mm fans compared to the 6 heat pipes and 90mm fans that most of the other AIBs offer at this price point. I'm pretty confident this is the same heatsink that PNY uses to cool their RTX 4080. Temps stay under 65c in stress tests and is usually in the mid 50s during gaming. I barely hear the fans. It's a beefy card though, so double check your case clearance.Another nice touch is that the 12VHPWR connection is recessed deeper into the card so that the cable doesn't need to bend as much (Looking at the pictures online would probably give you a better idea of what I'm talking about here).Out of the box, the core clock boosts upwards of 2730 mhz. I've even gotten it to run stable at 2900 mhz core clock and memory at 1500 ... MoreThis beast has 7 heat pipes and triple 100mm fans compared to the 6 heat pipes and 90mm fans that most of the other AIBs offer at this price point. If you don't care for ray tracing or can find a good deal on last gen cards, those are absolutely better value. Otherwise, no regrets here. Great work, PNY!
This card is huge. As a follow up to my first review, the card was putting pressure on my mATX board connections (USB, ARGB, case front panel, etc) to the point it was bending them. I could not accept that and was about to buy a full size ATX board. After a little research, I found that a few mATX motherboards have the PCIE x16 slot in the top position instead of next to the top (like mine). After reading several good reviews and tests, I chose the MSI PRO B550M-VC. I was able to get it here from B&H and could not be happier. Now everything fits perfectly. The new motherboard is also PCIE gen 4 (old board was PCIE gen 3), so that may give me a few more FPS with the GPU as well.
The RTX 4070Ti (formerly 4080 12GB) is the best value graphics card from the Nvidia 4000 series so far. Offering performance comparable to a 3090Ti at a much lower power consumption and MSRP than the 3090Ti launched with, this GPU will demolish your expectations and handle 1440p high refresh rate gaming in titles such as Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk 2077, and Portal RTX. Even at 4k resolution in many titles you will see great performance from this card. Nvidia as a brand is synonymous with reliability and performance in the graphics card market and their GPU drivers in the form of the GeForce Experience application are much more reliable and user friendly than those of other GPU manufacturers. This card is OC and it still wont hit 60C in the test! I cant get over how cool it runs and the fans are very quiet. During the stress test I did have the fans set to 100% and yes they are loud at 100% but look at my temps! im 30C under where I need to be! its insane that its this cool and overclocked far! at 30% fan (default) my temps get around 63-64C. This is where I run it and its nice and quiet. Its the same noise as my H150i pump Fans that have Corsair QL fans attached to them running at 1000rpm if anyone really wants to know that deeply lol.I would get this card over the Gigabyte Eagle or Windforce, or Asus Tuf (runs hot), I almost had a MSI gaming trio X but I got a empty box instead! so cant comment on that one.Conclusion...I didn't want a PNY graphics ... MoreThis card is OC and it still wont hit 60C in the test! BTW the anti sagging mount sucks! As you can see in the photo, Summer and Arthricia works just fine! lolRan the stress test and benchmarks for everything I can find and im blown away.Im just gonna keep it realCons Its PNY...Sorry PNY you just are not the cream of the crop when it comes to us gamers. However that being said! Wow im blown away.I never knew what coil whine was till I got this card. I only heard people talk about it. As soon as I stressed the card to the max I instantly knew what coil whine was......its very minimal and quiet(I dont like the RGB, its minimal but still not fan) also con 2! This card is soooo wide I cant use my riser and have this horrid ugly cable im stuck with right between my Rick and Morty figures.
it's been 30 days since I got the RTX 4070 Ti graphics card and I have to say it's super cool! This card makes my games run really fast and look amazing! Even when I'm playing games with lots of action and graphics, the card doesn't get too hot because it has three fans that keep it cool. There's something called DLSS 3 technology in the card that makes my games look even better. It's like a superpower that helps my computer run games even faster and with better graphics. When I play my favorite games, I feel like I'm right there in the action! The graphics card also has something called ray tracing that makes the games look even more realistic. The shadows, reflections, and lighting look so cool and real!
