Poeme by Lancome for Women - 3.4 Ounce EDP Spray

Wow! This has been one of my favorite perfumes since I was a teenager. The smell is to die for! It is soft and wonderful. It lasts all day and can still be smelled on clothing the next day. I am obsessed. However, my boyfriend thinks it smells like "old lady perfume." With that said, I don't wear it very often. If it weren't for his opinion, I would wear it every day all day. I wear perfume every day and apply it multiple times, and even though I have tried MANY it still has remained my favorite. I highly, highly recommend trying it!

I received this beautiful fragrance as Christmas gift . Lancome is one of my favourite brand and this scent is absolute fantastic . This feminine scent possesses a blend of many florals including mimosa, white flowers, rose, and the scent of vanilla. Lancôme Poême Eau De Parfum is a composition of contrasts, in which the effusive note of the Himalayan Blue Poppy embraces the enchanting scent of the Datura flower. Around this duo, white flowers mingle joyfully with yellow flowers... in Poême each word is a flower, each flower a poem to express that which cannot be said. Absolute perfection 💛

This is one perfume that at the 1st encounter you either like it or hate it. I find it sa hard to understand the combination of notes used for this Miracle scent , took me 5 months of use every other day to be able to really appreciate it. , Alberto Morillas and Christian Dussoulier. Top notes are Litchi and Freesia; middle notes are Magnolia, Pepper, Ginger, Mandarin Orange and Jasmine; base notes are Jasmine, Musk and Amber. You can scent the ginger at fist strong and sopy but after a while it symply transform it a a such a delicat and sensual scent, allowing the jasmine and musk to evertake the ginger Will definitely recommend to all ladys that want to try something different.

Upon initial spray, Lancôme Miracle gives you a bright and spicy first impression. It kind of envelops you and gives me a blast of energy! Then comes the more warm and floral aspect to this fragrance which develop soon after, giving the scent more depth, especially with the musk and jasmine base. The understated, glass packaging with the silver touches really compliments the pink tinge of the parfum inside. This fragrance makes me smile every time I wear it! In my eyes, it is represents great value considering how long it lasts and how much I can smell it on myself throughout the day. I wholeheartedly recommend this!

Original “Poeme” had intricate layers with almost 30 ingredients declared, and I used to be able to smell them all, in turn, slowly, over course of hours, the pyramid would progress, opening up, middle notes coming after the top, then the base, and I would find and notice each ingredient. I could smell them all! But not anymore!Now, it’s like a flash bomb mess, a stun-grenade: opens up with weak initial accords of something simple, although resembling “Poeme”, but not quite, then suddenly, changing into the final base notes of powdery sweetness within 30 minutes(!), missing the middle notes of mimosa, leather or orange blossom, with the apotheosis of this new mess: a completely varnished scent (even cheap vanilla is gone) after 3-4 hours! Shocking!Before, the scent would stay on me through the evening, and day, would trail after me, surrounding with a cloud of yellow flowers, now, gone after 3 hours, not a whisper of it is left the following day on my blouse.I wish companies like Lancome would stop selling something that is no longer there. At the best it is misleading. If the product has changed, the bottle and name should change too. This desire to chase profits and cut corners would only damage the reputation in the long run, as now, I will be looking for another scent elsewhere (and for my cosmetics supplier), possibly looking for something vintage, as contrary to the perfumery industry belief, who keep churning juvenile scents of sugary flower bombs of simplicity for the last twenty years, not all women want to stay pre-pubescent forever and star in their own “Lolita” movie. Some of us are happy to grow up and not afraid to be heavy or moody, and for once, at the happy age of 40, finally have enough disposable income to buy the pleasure in the form of our favourite perfume.I am very upset with “Lancome”! Having bought two 50ml bottles, now I am stuck with a simple and weak body spray, but above all, I hate being lied to or taken for a fool!

Beautiful fragrance, lasts throughout the day!

Beautiful fragrance, lasts throughout the day. Disappointed that it has been discontinued. The opening note is floral and enticing. The heart note is the best aspect. The combination of Orange blossom and Jasmine is magnificent. It has a good sillage and leaves a wonderful trail. I have had multiple compliments from strangers on the street and in a restaurant. The base notes are heavy on Vanilla and give a warm and cozy feeling. It is a delightful experience.

Compliments never stop.

I love Poeme. I have worn it for over 30 years and I always get compliments for the fragrance. I believe it smells different on each person. It lasts all day. A large number of the compliments are from men. They will stop me and tell me that whatever fragrance I am wearing I should never stop wearing it. Then they ask the name so they purchase for their wife. I am devastated that it is no longer going to be available. I hope the decision will be overturned and it will continue being produced.

Long lasting

I am not good at writing reviews but I have to write my honest opinion regarding Poeme. I am a loyal Lancome customer. This is my first time of purchasing this very parfum and I will commend the lasting power. I work 12 hour shift and it last through my shift. I love the compliments that I receive. Other team members will always ask what I am wearing and end it with - YOU SMELL SO GOOD. That being said, my body chemistry might be different so what works for me might not work for another person.

The BEST scent everrrrr!!!

Poême has been BY FAR the best scent I’ve ever worn!!!I have been wearing it since 1999, so that means 23 years, and like many others have commented, there’s no one I don’t go by with that gets a chance to smell it that doesn’t give me a great compliment about it.Men, women, even children, taxi drivers… you name it. I have given the Poême name to countless people who ask about it.It’s a real shame you don’t sell it anymore in Macy’s, Dillards, or any department store you use to sell it a few years back. Not even duty free at the airports carry it anymore.I have to look and look to find it… different vendors, also online, but many times the product seems altered.It’s not the same as when we got it from Lancôme. True Believer

I’ve worn this scent most of my adult life, at least since its existence and would love to continue to wear it. Why is it so difficult to obtain? And how do I know I am purchasing the original formula? It seems to be very popular; yet I’ve been told through at least the past ten years that it has been discontinued. So, why is it on occasion, I find a bottle , usually in duty free shops in various countries? Please reinstate it as a regular product! I don’t believe anything compares to it….unless Lancôme can convince me otherwise.
