I love this expansion. I played the original too many times to the point where I know the cards almost automatically, which gives me an unfair advantage when playing this awesome game. Now I have so many cards to choose from! Looking forward to coming up with my own custom cards, but I'm sure I won't have to make any for a long time.

We LOVE this game. We had played the original so much that we had memorized all the prompts. We are thrilled by this expansion! There are a LOT more words, so we are unlikely to memorize these at least for a few months :)

WE had fun trying out the new card set. It was even more challenging than the original set. Looking forward to more additions in the future!!
This expansion pack for the game Poetry for Neanderthals keeps the party going! With 500 extra cards to play with the gun will never stop! It’s an excellent addition to take game night to a whole other level.
I think new words in new set are real challenge. Had to whack friend with NO! Stick time and time more! Great fun!
I haven’t played this game yet, as the title says, I have some lame *** friends who either don’t like to play games or just suck in general.I need new friends!😩
The expansion box was very no frills. With double sided cards, it honestly felt superfluous and unnecessary. I wouldn’t think it would really be needed. We opened a pack just to compare words and found them to be very similar.
I think the price is reasonable for an expasion. Loved the new cards. My only disappointment was that it was advertised with a bonus called the Stay at home pack. Granted, it was also advertised that while supplies last in the bonus. However, I bought this game about two months ago, perhaps even three by the time Im doing the review. The Stay at Home Pack was still being advertised until about a week or two ago.
We have not played the game yet, so can't say. These cards are tough and good! Some words with only one -- word part -- to say what they mean look very very hard, but can be done. :)
