Poly Voyager 5200 UC Mono Bluetooth Headsets

Ok this by far is the best Bluetooth headset that is available in the current market, it was recommended to me by a friend who had been using this headset for quite some time now. So in a nutshell these are the highlights:-1) Noise cancellation is by far the best2) The call quality is far superior than any other headset3) The ability to latch onto 2 devices at the same time is brilliant4) The battery life is more than enough, its a REAL six hours not anything else5) The portability in the case is really handy to go with all by other things inside my laptop bag6) The build quality is amazing, its not just another tacky old headset7) The blue-tooth range is insane, it quite easily picks up signal from anywhere in a huge hallI would highly recommend this ... MoreOk this by far is the best Bluetooth headset that is available in the current market, it was recommended to me by a friend who had been using this headset for quite some time now. Best Feature(s):boom mic and charging case, I feel so damn professional with thesePerformance:fan-fishing-tasticValue For Money:$100 over 4 years. not bad.Well, this is a repurchase. My 1st one lasted me about 4 years. Then the mic got wonky. I thought; hell, this thing lasted a good while, I already have the charging case, might as well go ahead and just get it again.

Absolutely amazing!!! noise cancelling at its best!!

I was looking for true high definition speech since I'm always on the move and work in an open space. I've tried literally everything to test the noise cancelling capabilities, and my verdict is that I'm literally blown away!!! I've been using my electric toothbrush, flushing the toilet, drinking water from the tap, blow drying my hair (!), hoovering (!!), using the food mixer at full blast (!!!), standing next to busy roads with buses and heavy traffic, drying my hands in dyson hand dryers, cycling with wind in my face by the seaside, reversing the car with all related noises and beeps, talking in empy stairwells with massive echos, talking in busy rooms with plenty of background chatter....and the person on the other side always though I was quietly talking in an ... MoreI was looking for true high definition speech since I'm always on the move and work in an open space. I've tried with friends and family of course first, then with clients and nobody could ever guess I wasn't sitting in a closed room with perfect silcence. Also some people reported that you need to hands in order to wear it; I totally disagree, it's really easy with just one hand. You can accept calls or reject them with easy voice commands, the battery last for the whole day with heavy use, it can be connected to more than one device at once (like smartphone and laptop). It's so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing it...So in my opinion, being somebody who uses a bluethooth constantly and who's income depends on it, I definetly and absolutely reccomend this Voyager from Plantronics, worth much much more than its price would suggest!!

Exetremly useful for work

I've been using this for the past 4 years and wouldn't be able to work without it. I'm always on the move, in and out of cars, offices, always lots of backgroud noise and yet clients think I'm in the office all the times. It manages to cover even the sound of fireworks!! Great with wind noise, constant humming and white noises in general. Water from a tap can be heard as well as a blender, but things like a hairdryer or the window open in the car are totally cancelled; general traffic and road noise too. Great also with people talking in the background or even next to you cannot be heard at all. It also has an handy mute button, connects seamlessly with PC and telephone at the same timeI'm always on it for the entire day and I can't fault it for 95% of the noise ... MoreI've been using this for the past 4 years and wouldn't be able to work without it. Sleek, Small, Needs a bit more

I use this headset with my cell phone and desk phone together. An issue with that is getting use to being on the phone and trying to take another call on the other device. This doesn't affect my star rating but figured others would like to know. I haven't found a way to actually answer both devices at the same time even putting one on hold/mute. The sound quality is nice and I can actually hear a lot better than with my old headset. The Bluetooth range is a bit disappointing. I have used Bluetooth on other devices, left my phone on my desk, and answered when I was upstairs in my warehouse. This headset/base doesn't have anywhere near the same range. Because of this as well as there is feedback when on a call and unplugging the power and replugging it in takes that ... MoreI use this headset with my cell phone and desk phone together. Because of this as well as there is feedback when on a call and unplugging the power and replugging it in takes that feedback away is why I am rating it 3 stars. Negative 1 for the range and another negative 1 for the feedback. Once I get the time to call support it may be a quick fix I can come back and update to 4 stars.

So far so good!

works great. fits well. I wear glasses, which was an original concern but all is well. Lightweight and comfortable. I can easily switch between r/l ears. It looks like it would be bulky, but it certainly doesn't feel that way. Haven't tried connecting with my mobile yet, just computer softphone. I can answer my softphone calls from the earpiece (which is really awesome!). Even a setting where if its on the charging stand, then I pick it up and place on my ear, it auto-answers the call. Pretty cool. However, the controller software will occasionally quit/close/die, in a manner where I can't tell/don't notice, thereby severing the connection with my softphone. Well worth the money!

Trying to find the best meeting option in today's market is quite the challenge, one the Voyager stands up to quite well. It easily installs, has great audio clarity and is very quick to connect to your device. A couple of things to consider, the battery sits behind your ear, so if you wear reading glasses getting the two comfortable can take a couple of adjustments. The battery life is only 6 hours which for me requires I place it in a changing station (bought separately) between calls. Like my earbuds my ear get soar after about 7-8 hours of calls. The ranges is ok from the computer, other devices seem to reach just a bit farther, but I find the range adequate for what I use it for. I had over the ear headphones as my primary device which this has replaced. I like the fact it does not try to out think me and know when to shut off or go to sleep like many other products, I am quite capable of that myself! This is not my primary meeting device and would recommend you give it a try.

[Rewarded Review] Best unattractive earpiece on the market!

I washed it in the washing machine, and it still worked great. It's not the most modern looking piece of equipment, and I had a date ridicule me for wearing it. However, I do not like ear buds, and I refuse to jam something in my ear in order for it to stay. Battery life is about 5 hours. I run a business, so I just carry a back-up. The sound is great for phone calls, and okay for music.

[Rewarded Review] Would buy again.

The microphone and the speaker work great while operating loud grain trucks everyone can hear me fine. I love the ability to be able to answer and ignore calls by voice but my complaint there is that sometimes it doesn’t give me that option and I have to get my phone out of my pocket when someone is calling. The battery lasts pretty good, I’m not on it a lot but generally can get close to a week out of it before I charge it. Overall I would purchase it again.
