Porta's Dressed All Round timber provides the foundation and structure for many renovation, carpentry and DIY projects. Dressed All Round has been machined or sawn on all sides, ready to use. DAR timber is used for a variety of uses including home renovations, joinery, and other DIY projects. General Purpose Pine is typically a cream to light-straw in colour. This timber is given a greater allowance for natural timber features such as knots, resin pockets and other natural characteristics of the timber. General Purpose Pine is easy to work with using standard tools, however, its knotty character and resin canals can cause premature blunting of cutters. The timber holds nails and screws well, and glues easily with common adhesives. It is usually selected to provide the foundation and structure for many renovation, carpentry, and DIY projects. This timber can be painted, stained, colour washed, waxed, or left raw. Its grain accepts preservative treatment well which can provide protection for exterior use.

Atrocious. Will never order timber delivered from Bunnings again. Ordered three lengths to build my kids a Robot Game competition table for FIRST LEGO League Challenge. Two of the pieces were warped to the tune of maybe 30 degrees over the full length (with one of them chock full of loose knots and missing chunks), and the third is extremely bowed but I will attempt to salvage it. Left me feeling like the policy with delivered timber is to pick the stock which no customer with half a brain would accept when hand-picking from the store themselves, then offload it in someone's driveway and high-tail it out of there before the customer notices the flaws in the stock they received. I don't understand why Bunnings would do this. They usually have perfectly fine stock in ... MoreAtrocious. Will never order timber delivered from Bunnings again.
