Reason for purchasing this monitor is mainly the price. Very affordable which is great for beginner videographers. Pros - its light, compact, comes with a pelican case (not as durable as an actual pelican case) and a monitor hood.Cons: Does not come with battery. Make sure you have the suggested battery for it when purchasing this product. Battery roughly has about 3 hours of battery life (purchase two if you don't have a backup battery).HDMI cable is not long enough if you are using this monitor on a gimbal or ring grip. I use mine on a ring grip and had to purchase a longer HDMI cable on top. I was able to use this with the sun hood at an outdoor event and it worked great! The previous day I used the Ninja V, but wanted to lighten my load and didn't need external recording, I was worried that this might not be bright enough, but it worked great! 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent item but one problem for Nikon users: the HDMI cables included in the package will not work as Nikon uses mini HDMI ports. You'll need to buy an HDMI to MINI HDMI cable.
Great little field monitor. I really like the touch screen. It gives you easy access to all the tools you need to get exposure and focus. The only down sides and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is it doesn't have great instructions. You have to kind of figure every thing out on your own. There isn't even any real good videos on their website explaining all the features.
While this isn't the best monitor I have used, it certainly does well for its price point. Its amazingly light and low profile. The touchscreen is nice, but a little confusing and at time glitchy. For some reason it doesn't allow peaking in yellow. But for all its minor flaws, its great having this super small and light weight option at a great sale price.
PORTKEYS PT6Pros: works mostly as describedCons: In the advanced monitor tools you can remove all but 4 settings which cannot be trashed. Portrays tech support did not have any solution.
i use this on my Leica SL2 as a handheld rig. For bigger setups, there are better monitors out there.. LUTs uploadable.. i think it holds like 15 or 20 on the monitor.. Great for a run and gun mirrorless setup.. It is a plastic chassis (cheap plastic) so its requires a somewhat delicate touch. UI can be a little clunky.. but it works great. Price on this goes a long way..
