A beautiful and perfectly functional teapot. Its shape contributes to a perfect pour with no spillage. I have this exact teapot given to me (new) by my mother, years ago, and when my boyfriend (a tea aficionado) started using it, he wanted his own. So I purchased this recently for him for Christmas.

You have to love Peter’s of Kensington for the beautiful products and the amazing prices. And they top it off with fantastic service. You can’t ask for more.A beautiful teapot which doesn’t drip and it keeps the tea hot. It completes my tea set together with the lovely sandwich tray. What’s more it’s still made in the United Kingdom.

Over the years Portmeirion’s Botanical Garden motif and chinaware have slowly deteriorated both in the elegance of the visual lines and in the richness of detail. That said, the designs are still quite pretty and in this instance their most recent tea pot while dumpy-looking, is spacious, keeps the tea quite hot, and importantly: pours without dribbling. At the price offered by Wayfair this makes this tea pot well worth it. Furthermore, the pot was quite well packaged and arrived in one piece, as hoped for.

We bought this Portmeirion Botanic teapot because we have always appreciated the distinctive Portmeirion designs and were keen to support a British manufacturer. Having just used this teapot for the first time, we greatly regret that we shall probably not use it again as the whole 'balance' of the full pot makes it unwieldy and a challenge for ageing wrists. It is beautiful to look at but impractical. That is a shame - and a serious waste of money - as we really wanted to like it.
Had to buy a replacement Botanic Garden teapot following a clumsy breakage of our first one. We tried without for a while but nothing compared to tea from a quality product such as this.Ordered the new one which arrived very quickly and was well packaged. Peace reigns in the house again.
It was great to quickly get a new teapot. We had that exact same one before but I broke it and am really glad to have purchased the new one directly from Portmeiron.
Love the TeapotJust the right size for meArrived well packagedWithin the Date advisedIn Excellent condition
A wonderful easy to pour teapot, love this designer from the 1970's. Holds the heat well and serves at least x4 cups.
I was very sorry I did not open the box on the day it was delivered but there was not time. I opened it two days later and found the spout had a rather large chip out of the pouring surface. It works but at a peculiar angle. Never mind I guess I purchased a second rather than a new one. The spout net covered the chip and we used it and then found the damage so we could not then make any cliam.
Disappointed the teapot I bought to replace an existing one isn’t as fine as previous ones and is now very heavy. It is chunky where previously it was nice and delicate. Also noticed this previously on replacement mugs.
