This is such a great compact little charging dock for my Nintendo Switch controllers. It works for both my Joy-Con controllers AND my wireless controller. It's got a weighted base, so it's not a lightweight piece of plastic that can get bumped around easily all the time. I love the simple LED indicators that clearly show me the charge status of my controllers. The charging dock fits easily on my entertainment center shelf and is so quick and convenient.

The indicator light tells you when it’s in the right position and charging. The connecting wire is long enough so if you want to plug it further away from things you can. I love the classic black color too as it blends well with furniture and the room so it doesn’t stick out and become an eye sore. Controllers plug in and come out easily. Beautifully designed.

The power a controller charging base has been an excellent choice for my gaming room. It is perfect for charging my power, a rechargeable controller and my pro controller. My favorite part is that the pins on the connector and base have a really strong magnet so the pins line up perfectly for a charge. The led in the front, changes from red to green to let me know when my controllers are fully charged and ready to go. Overall great base and I highly recommend it!
I received this complimentary for my review, but I wish I purchased sooner! I love this charging base! It makes charging my pro controller so much easier! All I had to do was plug in a small attachment then it just sits in the base to charge! Much easier than messing with a wire every time! It's crack for the small controllers too. If you're playing on a tv this is much more convenient. Works perfect and looks nice!
Thanks PowerA for my free Nintendo controller charging base! This was the perfect thing to test out around the holidays. I work from home a lot, which gives me plenty of free time to use my Nintendo switch. As a result, my controllers die so fast and so frequently! My joycons can slide right in and my other controllers can be charged via USB-C at the same time while they sit nice and pretty in the docks! The LED lights indicate charge level. They charge sooo fast! This handy little dock is a must-have for anyone who has a Nintendo switch and the value can't be beat!
This is a great charging station for two kinds of controllers. You can charge the joystick and wireless controller together at the same time or separately. It also comes with a USB C adapter for the wireless controllers that can be stored underneath the charging base. I like that there are charging indicator lights for both controllers so you can tell if it is charging, and when they are done charging. This is a great product to add to your Nintendo Switch setup.
As a switch household this charger has been a lifesaver. It is small and compact but punches a powerful charging punch. I like the set up it looks really cool when you put multiple controllers in. My favorite part is the changing magnetic dongle that goes into the bottom of the controller and it makes it super easy and convenient because you don't have to line anything up or worry about the charger falling out mid charge. It is very well made and quality but also very simply designed. I would definitely purchase it again.
I'd see this a good purchase if you have multiple controllers for your Nintendo switch.Although I appreciate the dock functionality of this device, i'm not sure I know why it's needed. The controllers that plug into the Nintendo Switch can charge on their own if plugged into the switch dock. Therefore, the dock would be a redundancy that takes up another outlet. Additionally, if you're using a traditionally controller, it needs to be USB-C in order to adapt.Its a great dock in theory, but not really needed for the targeted console.

The Switch Pro Controller docks to the station wirelessly. There is a little magnetic charging terminal that matches up with the small USB-C dongle you leave plugged into the controller. It used to be a pain to find a charger for the controller and I always felt like it was a wired controller as a result. This lets me keep the thing charged all the time. I don't use the other feature much which is the joy-con chargers on the back, since I just use the Switch itself to charge those. I tried it just to see if it works, and it does.
