Editorial Review of the PowerA OPS V1 Wireless Controller** The PowerA OPS V1 Wireless Controller has garnered mixed reactions from gamers, though many generally appreciate its ergonomic design and responsive features. Users have noted that the controller feels comfortable in the hands, even preferring it to more expensive counterparts like the Xbox Elite and Razer Wolverine, primarily due to its well-placed programmable buttons and satisfying mechanical buttons. The textured grips and responsive triggers earn high marks, contributing to an enjoyable gaming experience across both short and extensive play sessions. Despite these strengths, the controller is not without its shortcomings. A significant complaint revolves around the wireless connectivity, as many users experience lag or instability with the Bluetooth feature unless they keep the controller close to the PC. The USB dongle connection works better, but the limitation of Bluetooth functionality to Android devices is a critical drawback for PC gamers who may want more versatility. Further complicating the experience is the design of the bumpers, which only register a press when fully clicked down, leading to potential input errors. Additionally, while the mechanical buttons are generally well-received, their clicky nature might not appeal to everyone, especially those sensitive to sound. It's important to note that this controller only works with select platforms, limiting users looking for cross-Console gaming. Ultimately, while the PowerA OPS V1 presents a compelling option for gamers—especially those seeking a wireless alternative with good build quality—Prospective buyers should weigh its limited connectivity options and some design quirks against its appealing ergonomic features.

The controller works with Windows-based computer or Android phones. Not compatible with Apple products like Mac or iPhone. When connected to a windows-based computer, it doesn’t stay connected and when it is connected, it has a slow response rate. This would be a good backup to have if your primary controlled needs to charge…but I would not use this as the primary for gaming.

The battery life is solid too, lasting me a good amount of time before needing a recharge. If you’re into PC gaming, I definitely recommend this controller. It’s packed with features that make it stand out and is well worth the price for what it offers. I might have to get my husband one as well.I received this product from influenster in exchange for my honest review.

For most PC gamers this is not a problem as there is the customization for the personal level. For anyone using this for mobile phone pairing it gets awkward. No mobile device holder.Overall: It is a well-designed piece but given its cost is not that much more innovative than other devices on the market. The decision ultimately comes down to whether you want a longer lasting battery OR do you want the additional peripherals.

Great wireless gaming controller
21 September 2024

This controller is amazing it has tons of features and is highly customizable. It was super to connect to my tv via Bluetooth. It also is able to connect to windows computers with the cable that is provided which is also the charging cable. And it has a usb adapter that can be used to connect via rf wireless connection. It has tons of programmable buttons on the back and it the rubber covers for the joysticks are super comfy and made of a thick material. The controller isn’t too big or bulky and it is really durable and solid feeling.

21 September 2024

I’m honestly blown away by the OPS v1 Wireless Controller! It connects effortlessly to both my PC and cloud gaming, and the responsiveness is crazy good—no lag at all, which made me so happy. I’ve dropped it a few times, and it’s still going strong, so it’s built to last. Plus, it feels amazing in my hands, like it was made for long gaming sessions. The connection is super reliable too, no annoying disconnections. I’m loving every minute of using this controller!

25 September 2024

Getting cords stuck and tangled are annoying right? ESPECIALLY when you’re playing a game and your headphones get stuck as well!? That won’t happen anymore haha, this is an amazing durable remote, BLUETOOTH (no more cords haha) and it works great! Battery life is long too so no need to worry about that!

Great controller! It was the first time I used a controller for pc gaming, and it connected so easily with the cord. No extra set up. The usb connect was also easy. I can recommend. It also feels really nice in your hands. It has some texture to it, which I enjoyed.

Very Good Gaming Controller
9 October 2024

This Controller is great. It has a turbo option which is a plus. It also has two usb to connect to different devices. It has extra buttons on the back. Another good thing about is the rumble, it feels great when playing a game. The only complaint is that connecting it to Bluetooth wasn’t working but that’s not a problem since there’s two usb ports.

Love the RF, Bluetooth, and the possibility to be hardwire with usb. Works well with most games that are controller compatible. Would definitely gift to a gamer or someone starting to game maybe on pc. It’s nice that’s it’s chat hable through usb port. Would recommend. Thanks to Influenster for this awesome cool free product to review.
