POWERSERIES+ Cordless Stick Vacuum

It works really well to clean dust, hair, lint, on carpets! I have only tested this to compare it to my other sweeper. I like it and would recommend this stick carpet sweeper for the price point. It works very well for small areas and quick sweeps. It doesn’t pick up large stuff well, but it sure deep cleans the mini particles! And it gets my hair up! It’s heavy compared to a typical carpet sweeper which is difficult for some. It doesn’t vacuum floor edges like a Dyson. Overall… I love this sweeper for the value! It is far better than my other carpet sweeper! If you can’t afford a high end vacuum… this one is great!

I purchased this vacuum to replace a older but similar vacuum that had been knocked over and broken. It had given good service for 6 years. The new vacuum had the same user interface / display so I was familiar with its basic operation. I had disassembled the old unit to reuse the batteries for use in a RC model airplane and make them compatible with my RC Lithium battery charger. (I am a retired electronic engineer.) When the charger was first connected one led would turn on and stay on for about 90 seconds, then the 3 leds would flash continuously and not go off. The tech on the phone said that this was normal and leave it on for 5 hrs.. When the charger was disconnected and the machine was turned on the 3 leds started to flash and it ran for 5 seconds and died. Good Product, Disappointing Quality

Purchased 11/17/23 to meet wife's birthday request for a light cordless vacuum for quick cleanups. Put in service 11/28/23. She was very happy with it until 12/28/23 when the beater bar started rotating intermittently and the battery and charging system and indicator began acting weird. Had purchased the optional $15 warranty based on bad quality reviews and received a new replacement unit at Lowe's. The optional warranty is a one-time deal, so I paid $15 for another warranty for the replacement vacuum. Cannot recommend the vacuum, but the optional warranty is recommended.

Great stick vacuum

I purchased this vacuum 2 months ago. It is one of the best stick vacuums I have ever purchased. Had another B&D stick vacuum for over 6 years. Needed a new battery but it was easier to purchase a new vacuum. Love the light........shows me where all the dust and dirt is!!!!! For a quick run all over the house the battery time is perfect. For a bit deeper cleaner it has to be recharged but not a problem. I would suggest to anyone purchasing this unit to clean it after every use. Have not washed the sponge filter but have removed it and shaken the dirt off it. I also love how it self adjusts speed from bare floors to carpet or rugs. I can't see myself pulling out my canister corded vacuum anytime soon!!!! Many thanks B&D for creating such a perfect stick vacuum!!!!

Light weight but mighty powerhouse

This is the perfect lightweight stick vacuum , not heavy , and definitely gets the job done .I was very hesitant at first about this brand. I work in an office for a construction company so the carpet is filthy ! Bought this today and it got WORKED , vacuumed the front office until it ran out of charge about 35 minutes,Completely filled up the cup ,recharged it then vacuumed the back office where the guys work which has much more debrisEven they seemed impressed, we originally had one of those other brands with a big price tag and a fancy tool name, but returned it for this one . It's lighter and more user friendly I can flow from left to right hand with a breeze, I don't want to feel like I've had a workout after vacuuming. I'd say after two full cups of dirt it's fair to rate the vacuum. This is exactly what I wanted and for the price it quite surprised me and the men. The other vacuum didn't wow me for the price tag , but this one is worth it & has that cool release bar at the bottom so its easy to clean out coiled up hair and the vacuum head can swivel making it easy to maneuver into tight spots ( the other one didn't have the bar release feature ). Cordless is the only way to vacuum and kinda fun , cords are out dated . A bit longer battery life would be on the wish list and maybe more color choices because I know this white vacuum will get dirty in a construction environment , I would definitely recommend this to a friend and I prefer it over the big name vacumes ive tried , they just aren't worth the extra money. Nice vacuum, but doesn’t last long!

I loved this vacuum when I first got it. It is well made and comes with two suction settings. It worked good for about a year, and then it went haywire. The suction levels go up and down on its own and the motor is so loud that we can’t even use it. It sounds like something is clogging the motor, and I hardly ever used it. I always emptied it out after I used it, and just used it for light duty.. I liked that it had a light on the vacuum head because you can see a lot of dirt you would normally miss without it. I was happy with it when it worked, but wouldn’t ever buy it again. I’ve had so many Black %26 Decker cordless handheld vacuums throughout the years that I always loved. Ok stick vacuum for the money but would not recommend

I recently purchased this vacuum to replace another Black and Decker cordless stick vacuum that gave out. This vacuum is just okay. It’s lightweight easy to move around. The bright lights are really helpful. I also like the washable filters. However, the suction is lacking and doesn’t pick everything up even when going over it a few times. Even in handheld mode the suction is not very strong at all. The handle sticks and is hard to convert from a stick vacuum to handheld. Also, the button to remove the cup is in a terrible place. It’s located below the power button and I’ve hit the wrong one several times already. Really good purchase

Overall, I feel that this vacuum has changed my life. I live in a 2 story 1450 sf townhouse with hardwood, tile, carpet and area rugs. I purchased this for the purpose of quick clean-ups; light crumbs or spills (ground coffee) on the kitchen floor, light debris tracked in from garage or outdoors, hair on bathroom floor, etc. Previously I would either get out my Kenmore canister vacuum - and oh, gee - as long as I have it out, might as well vacuum the whole house (thus the reason I was often hesitant to get out the regular vacuum) or I was constantly bending down with either/and/or a whisk broom and dustpan or damp paper towel, OR, worst of all, if time was short, leaving things until another time. To really stay on top of things, this may actually entail using it 5-6 times a day, but it is a very QUICK solution and doesn’t seem like a chore. It is so easy to use that lately I’ve been doing a once over on the whole house every mid morning. It’s interesting, because initially the dust cup would have to be emptied a couple of times or more when doing the whole house - even the day after using my corded vacuum. Now, doing everything daily, there is very little in the dust cup. I feel like this means my home is always clean. If it weren’t for what’s picked up with the little uses that I originally bought it for, I could probably now do the whole house 2-3 days in a row without emptying the dust cup. I really don’t know exactly how long the charge lasts because I usually do the downstairs and take a little break before doing the upstairs. I’m old and run out of steam before the vacuum does. I always put it back to charge, but it’s always ready for the upstairs and has never stopped yet. The speeds I use vary. I’ve never needed it on high for very long at a time, although it usually automatically adjusts to high for the two bedrooms with carpet. Other features that I really like are that it has an on-off switch. I tried another with a trigger type switch and hated it. My hand got very tired. I also like that it stands up alone, has a very good light and an easy to clean filter - I did buy a spare so that I don’t have to wait for drying time. The cost was also very reasonable - a lot of bang for the buck. And the battery is replaceable for a reasonable price so you don’t have to toss it when the battery no longer holds a charge. These are all the wonderful aspects. As good as it is, though, it’s not perfect - there are a couple of negatives. Probably the most disappointing is the edge pick-up. It does okay if something along the baseboard is a little larger and sticks out a little, but if it is something small, like a cookie crumb and right next to the wall, chances are 50-50 that it will not pick it up. If I reach down and push the debris out away from the wall or corner, it always gets it, but that can get a little annoying. With the motor at the top, it can also get a little heavy when cleaning for longer periods of time and I really wish it had an upholstery brush and if the one accessory tool that comes with would attach to the vacuum. It does feel a little flimsy and I don’t know how long it will last, or how well it would work for more heavy duty cleaning or with pets, but otherwise, it has great suction, keeps a more than adequate charge for my needs and actually makes we want to clean. I would recommend it to anyone with basic needs.

I bought this in the physical Lowes store. Seeing and touching was important in the buying decision.I intended it for quick cleanups in the kitchen. Small and light was important to me. Also, it was relatively inexpensive.But wow! It is so handy! On hard floors it picks up everything on the first pass. I have good confidence that I'm getting a good cleaning. So I took it to the plush carpets. Seems pretty agressive. The automatic shift to high speed is very convenient.There is a lot of stuff in the bin when I clean it out, so I guess it's cleaning well there too. Cleaning the bin and filter with water is impressive too--after I've dumped and shook out as much as I can then the water brings out so much more.So, my big upright vacuum just sits in the closet ... MoreI bought this in the physical Lowes store. This is a great vacuum that fills a niche in our cleaning needs. We have a robotic vacuum that regularly cleans portions of our house, but it can't go down steps, so some areas obviously don't get attention from it. This Powerseries+ Stick vacuum allows me to easily clean the room, which includes a cat's litter-box and an exterior door where bits of leaves get tracked in, without having to bring in the full-sized vacuum. It simply isn't reasonable to clean such an area that gets heavy dirt and debris accumulation with a traditional (read: small) handheld vacuum. We also have a canister vacuum, but it is stored across the house in a closet. It has thus far been easy to clean, and included solid instructions for long term maintenance. Its head is also fairly thin, and easily slides under cabinets in the room, and would also fit under a couch to reach into areas that may otherwise be tough to get.Its convenient wall mount means it has a dedicated spot in which to keep it, and its compact size means that I can store it near where it will get the most of its use without it being in the way. It has sufficient battery life, unlike a lot of the tiny handheld vacuums, so I can use it to clean this entire area without stopping for a charge or getting tangled by a power cable. It, out of the box seems to last more than enough time for my primary use of it - cleaning this one room. Its initial battery life has been on par with the claimed life. Time will tell with regard to how long the long term battery lifespan is, but this is, of course, not unique to this particular product.If I lived in a small house or apartment, I could easily see having a stick vacuum like this serve as the only vacuum I owned. In a larger house, it may work best as a supplement to a larger vacuum, as it does for me.
