Prada Amber Eau De Parfum Spray - 80ml/2.7oz

This is such a unique scent. It is very subtle. It was not what I would have expected from a perfume called “candy”. It was a lot less decadent and a lot less obnoxiously sweet than most candy-themed perfumes. It smelled like a subdued version of cotton candy but with notes of musk that dulls the cotton candy / marshmallow smell. This scent is a mature, tempered version, it is not the cheapy discount store overwhelming fake cotton candy / marshmallow smell, but a more “real” scent that you just want to keep smelling. If you know the John Frieda curl conditioner smell then it’s a lot like this but with a layer of musk. It's a playful and sophisticated, gourmand women's fragrance combining in excessive proportions, subtle white musks, warm benzoin and an addictive touch of caramel to create a warm and sweet vanilla perfume for women who are impossible to ignore. The key notes are: white musk, benzoin, and caramel accord. I really cannot say enough good things about this perfume. This is definitely something that I recommend and that you need to go out and try for yourself. I promise that you won't be disappointed! 😊

This is Prada candy and it’s perfect for anyone who loves a warm, musky, gourmand scent. Comes in many sizes, including a rollerball. This is a floral, warm gourmand…you get those floral tones mixed in. The strongest notes that my nose detects is white musk and some kind of caramel. It opens heavily with the white musk and tones down. Remains a bit musky. This lasts about 3-4 hours on me, then I don’t smell it on myself anymore. You can detect it if you smell your clothes but not walking past someone.

This isn’t a bad scent, but it honestly smells and performs like a drugstore body spray vs a designer EDP. The caramel note isn’t as strong (to me) as other reviewers mentioned- it’s there, but subtle. It also is a bit synthetic, but to be expected (caramel isn’t exactly found in nature lol). It’s a caramel, powdery, musky vanilla perfume. Definitely a skin scent - you’d really have to overspray to get this to project. Probably a good reach if you work in an office or a scent-sensitive environment. There are better options from this brand in my opinion (ie. Prada Paradoxe). 6/10

Thank you @pradabeauty and #sopost for this sample of Prada Candy EDP. It's a combination of White Musks, Benzoin Caramel. It's a sweet fragrance the musks benzoin balance it out. It does remind of a perfume from back in the 80's or 90's, but I can't put my finger on it. It has a very youthful vibe has a powdery finish to it. If you like sweet musky perfumes, I think you would like this fragrance. I'm giving it 4 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟 because I think the fragrance is a little dated has a very familiar scent. It definitely smells like a fragrance from the late 80's, early 90's....if I can figure it out, I'll edit the review. (I think it's between Liz Claiborne Exclamation)

I am quite selective in choosing a perfume, even more so in selecting a perfume to wear daily. I like diversity. Prada Amber is and always has been my "go to" perfume, from Day One! I have a perfume collection, with 2 that I consider "go to" scents! However, Prada Amber soars above the rest! I Love It!!! I can be anywhere in the world, and I, literally, will be complimented endlessly! Interestingly, the compliments are from handsome men, fashionable women, varying ages, from all walks of life. It's amazing, or is it? Prada's Amber is a mesmerizing, alluring, sexy perfume!!! Of Course, compliments abound!!!! Most of all, I Love It!!!!!!!

If we were to judge a book by its cover then we would have to judge the perfume by the bottle that holds the juice and in this case, we would probably skip the fragrance that is extraordinary and beautiful. The bottle looks like a deodorant bottle, has a strange rubbery top that can get a bit dirty when used for a long time. The silvery gold bottle looks ok, but is not very posh or luxurious and we tend to think of fragrance as something special. Since it was released in 1998 we should understand why the bottle looks so .... cheap. The end of the century, breaking the rules etc. The juice however, although it is 20 years old it smells so modern and at the same time so classic. The scent is musky,and woody, it is sweet without being sickly sweet. It is so feminine, so soft and delicate, yet it has an enormous sillage and it very long lasting. Thanks to its powdery note it is timeless, very sexy and sensual too. It is like a dress, it make you feel more like a woman, it gives you those kind of sexy moves. I love the fragrance, it lingers on my hair and clothes for such a long time. I find it special because it is so different to all these gourmand fragrances on the market. Although the bottle is much less than impressive, the scent inside is sophisticated and very pretty. I recommend the tests in the department stores.
