This scent starts out seeming quite subtle on the skin and you think it will disappear BUT after 15 mins or so it bursts out with a wonderful, complex floral bouquet that lasts and lasts. Most perfumes fade out on me but not this one. Also, the scent does not decay as it fades, becoming powerdery or flat as so many more expensive ones do. It retains all its flowery notes. It is not overbearing nor aggressive, but is subtle, unusual and sensuous. People comment on it as if they half recognise it and like it, but dont know it. And, the cute metal container means you can carry it with you with no risk of breakage.

For me the mint in the top notes really stands out, and so does the vanillasmooth leather in the bottom. The middle spice notes make it really shine, though. Spice in a cologne gets me every time. I cant smell the rose as strongly, and I dont mention it to my customers I think a lot of Asian men would shy away from a girly note like rose in their cologne. Everyone smells something different in a cologneMy first thought was that this cologne was a lot like the new Gucci Guilty with its spice and woodyvanilla notes, but Guilty is a deeper, heavier scent with cardamom instead of cinnamon and much different top notes. I like Million better and I think its tooIf youre going to buy on Maceys, get the large size. Cologne is expensive, yes, but a 6.7oz bottle should last you 2 years or more depending on how often you use. Id say the larger size is definitely worth the investment.

The neroli, cardamom, orange blossom, geranium and musk are pretty much the dominant notes. I don't get any leather or tonka bean in this at all. I do get some patchouli in the full dry down. Performance is pretty decent! I usually get 9 to 10 hours on my skin with about 3 hours of projection.
