Prada Paradoxe Intense Eau De Parfum Refill 100ml

I was so excited to receive a full sized bottle of Prada Paradoxe Intense eau de parfum in 1.7 oz size from Influenster in exchange for my review.I feel like I am a bit selective when choosing fragrances, especially given the high cost of so many out there. Most seem to have either a musky or powdery undertone that I dislike, even when the notes sound appealing to me. I usually prefer floral and citrusy scents, and was very pleasantly surprised to find a new scent that I love. This fragrance is said to have notes of Jasmine flower, Amber accord and moss accord. I am not really familiar with the differences in the scents but I definitely smell a strong floral with a spicy afternote. Although it is not included, I keep thinking of pears or some type of fresh fruit ... MoreI was so excited to receive a full sized bottle of Prada Paradoxe Intense eau de parfum in 1.7 oz size from Influenster in exchange for my review.I feel like I am a bit selective when choosing fragrances, especially given the high cost of so many out there. I am not really familiar with the differences in the scents but I definitely smell a strong floral with a spicy afternote. Although it is not included, I keep thinking of pears or some type of fresh fruit when I get a whiff of the scent. It's definitely a very elegant scent, might be more suitable for an evening out rather than everyday, mostly due to its intensity. The bottle shape is very sleek and true to its logo, but I am a bit paranoid it may leak because the opening is tilted at an angle. I also like the fact that it is refillable, and the refill is more cost effective than purchasing a second bottle.Overall, this is definitely a scent worth splurging on. I am very grateful to try it, and will probably buy the refill once this gets empty.

I received this fragrance complimentary from Influenster and Prada to review. Having never tested the original, I was excited to test the intense version, as I do like my fragrance to have above moderate projection. There are aspects to this fragrance I find enjoyable. Bright and floral on the opening, but quickly becomes very amber heavy, and quite medicinal leaning, think cough syrup and earthy smelling. This is the portion that lasts the longest and I don't care for it personally. I'm quite sure there are people who will find this lovely from the opening to the dry down but it is not one I would purchase. Designer fragrance has continued to climb in price to the point of being higher than some niche houses, and is not warranted in my opinion. Prada did get the bottle design and color of juice done beautifully. Amazing beauty sitting amongst my collection. However, aesthetic is not what matters most so I would not recommend.
