Predator Helios Neo 16-inch i9-13900HX/32GB/1TB/RTX4070 Gaming Laptop

I already had high hopes for this laptop before I even opened it, and let me tell you that it did not disappoint. Great packaging to start with, both clean and safe. (Couple of weeks of trying the laptop….), It may or may not be the best laptop I’ve ever used for this price, coming at 1900$ is not cheap I know. But for a 14th gen I9 and a RTX 4070 is DEFINITELY a lot cheaper than the competition. Beautiful 16 inch QHD IPS screen which works at 2K as well.Overall, laptop is incredible but the acer software could be better.If you have any inquiries about the laptop you could add me in instagram (user: fxres10)

Good to go

I recently purchased this laptop with impressive specifications including a Core i9 13th Gen processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed with its performance.Performance: The Core i9 13th Gen processor delivers exceptional speed and smooth performance, whether I'm multitasking, editing videos, or running intensive software applications. Fan speed is good and of course there will be heat and the fan is doing a good job. The noise is as always high and am not worried about it. Over all its very good and i liked it.

Heat

Very heavy heat issues. I have had two of these computers and both have same issues. At first all is fine. In few months heat starts to go up. Gaming heats are around 100 degrees celsius. Battery heats so that you cannot charge. It gets progressively worse until charger or something else stops working. The Acer charger seems to be very bad. The plug does not fit the computer very well.

Is the full package

I bought this laptop almost a month ago, I’m so very happy and satisfied, is one of the most powerful laptops of this year comparing the relation quality-price.The system predator have some software to introduce you in a gamer system, everything to exceed the limits.The KiLLER software to managed the priorities with the network adapter is gorgeous.The PredatorSense to see and manage how the fans works and customize everything about the temperature is a good detail.

Review of ACER Predator Helios Neo 16" Gaming Laptop - Intel®® Core™ i7, RTX 4060, 1 TB SSD

Pros: Runs every game I’ve tested perfectly on ultra settings, very fast, doesn’t heat up easily, screen looks very nice, plenty of storage spaceCons: Constant audio issues (refusing to play, cutting out, silence when listening to things), videos refusing to play, random crashes every now and then, resolution unsupported by certain games without the use of modsAs for the audio issues, I’ve tried reinstalling the drivers and I’ve tried every fix I can find online. Nothing has worked. As for the random crashing, I can’t figure out what’s causing it. The whole laptop will randomly freeze with no indication of why.
