I purchased 11 balls of Sage Green to crochet a large afghan. The colour is gorgeous, the yarn thickness consistent in all 11 balls, and the price highly competitive.. The only drawback is lack of elasticity in the yarn itself. Being a tight crocheter, I fixed this by re-starting the pattern again using a size larger hook. I do not know of a better yarn for afghan rugs. Orders are streaming in from everywhere. Thank you Craft2U for providing such a wonderful product.

I'm using this yarn for a variety of projects where softness and fluidity are important: children's hats, baby hats, post-chemo hats, and scarves. This yarn works up exceptionally well when held double with another yarn of commensurate or lighter thickness. Stitch definition in knitting is both clear and attractive. Also great is the spectrum of colors from pastels to more saturated tones.Thanks for offering this product! The price point is superb for what you get.

Yarn is soft to the touch & crochets easily. It doesn’t split. The finished product feels almost silky. I love that it comes in such a large variety of colors. It’s basically my “Go To” yarn for most projects like afghans and children’s clothing, I can’t say how it washes up though as most of my projects are for gifts & I don’t wash or block them before I gift them since I don’t know any allergy the recipient may have. Have to finish a couple of other projects before I can get started on the blue Christmas stocking I got this yarn for.So unfortunately have not used it yet.But weight snd feel are great, and the colour is absolutely perfect!!Will re-review once the stocking is made.
I liked working with this yarn, it felt soft and satisfying. It was affordable as well. However, when wearing the sweater I made from it, I noticed it was a bit itchy for my sensitive skin and because it’s acrylic, I overheat in it easily. Despite being machine washable and dry able, it’s already starting to fluff a little after two washes. I’ll air-dry it from now on and hopefully that’ll help.
I purchased this yarn for the soft muted colours. I was not even across my fist row and there was a black very fine thread or hair wrapped into my working yarn. Found that kind of quality just starting out to be very disappointing.10 rows into my project I found a knot where two ends were joined.Not at all impressed with this yarn and I had bought a blankets worth.
Both premier basix yarn in worsted and DK are my favorite acrylic yarns. Not alot of knots, tied ends or yarn barph. Good quality, not alot of splitting and reasonably priced. Good for baby items and prayer shawls to larger afghans.
I don’t know how they did it but i’ve never seen anything like this before, you could take the picture of this yarn and colormatch it perfectly to the actual yarn, it’s perfect, exact same shade and everything?? I always expect a bit of variation when ordering yarn from online because lot batches and photographs can alter colors and stuff but no this was absolutely spot on, i feel like you could zoom in on the picture and take it to the store and find the exact yarn skien just from the picture. It’s truly magnificent.Yarn itself is wonderful, used it to make a waffle stitch tote bag very cute very nice yarn no shedding or splitting
Premier Basix yarn is a very good basic yarn. It's softer than RedHeart Super Saver and there's a 3 weight version as well, that makes it great to make baby items.Premier Basix is one of my favorite yarns. I crochet and donate baby hats, little blankets, and fetal demise sets to my local hospital's nursery and NICU and Premier Basix 3 weight is my choice to use.
I really like this acrylic yarn. It works well with different types of hooks. It’s a very nice 4 weight yarn. I’m currently working on an American flag blanket. I couldn’t be happier. The acrylic leaves nice clean stitches. The price is good for the amount of yardage u get as well. The colors are very true too Thank u!
