I’d have preferred they were sweeter and more flavor. They mix well nice and smooth but I did notice in my blender a lot of foam on top. As an long time consumer of protein powder over the past 33 plus years of my training, I'd have to say that Bulk Nutrients really have this nailed!!! Sadly it took me until a little while ago to get onboard and can honestly see why they have been going from strength to strength. Trust me, I've had many unpleasant experiences in the past with other protein powders as I'm sure you can all appreciate. The mix-ability and all round consistency and 'creaminess' is amazing, and I only ever make it with water too. I only use a hand shaker to mix and this is so easy and mixes straight away with no clumps or the like. Recently ordered Strawberry, Chocolate/Honeycomb and Iced Coffee.Sweetness level tends to overpower flavours a little but definitely not as sickly sweet as other brands I've had previously. Was looking forward to that hit of coffee which wasn't there but still enjoyable.The flavours of most brands out there are highly overrated quickly becoming impalatable and boring but Bulk Nutrients are delicious so far.The serving size 30g is 2 times lower (sometimes 4) than some other brands yet delivers surprisingly higher protein grams making it much better value. The whole transaction was seamless and you feel looked after. Flat rate Express is amazing. I live in regional NSW and delivery was 3 days. I would definitely recommend Bulk Nutrients and look forward to re ordering.
Got a kg of the chocolate flavoured protein powder and quickly realised that the only way to drink it is in a chocolate smoothie and even then it didn’t taste the best or mix that well. Can be drank with warm milk but you’ll basically just be eating it off the top like you would a cold milo because it just doesn’t mix well without being blended. I am definitely going to stick with the flavourless powder in the future so I can add it to fruit smoothies, food and actually drink it with water along with the fact that I struggle to drink more than one dose at a time with the flavoured powder. The vanilla flavour is enough to taste good, but not overpowering.It mixed exceptionally well and has caused very minimal bloating (doesn't hang around very long). It does cause me and my wife a very small amount of flatulence for a short period, but I guess that's a byproduct of digesting.I like that there are no "fillers" or "proprietary blends", just straight up protein.Our initial reason for buying WPC is to help with losing weight and changing body composition. I’ve been getting Bulk Nutrients WPC varieties for some time now. They all mix well, taste good and have a decent amount of protein In them per scoop.This is almost 30g of protein per single scoop which is what I’m after too. I’ve used other brands but always seem to settle on Bulk Nutrients to get all my supplements from eventually. I recommend the Strawberry, nice flavour and mixes well like the other varieties.
Taste, texture is all top notch. But I discovered that my very mild lactose intolerance led to a really bad allergic reaction to this. I tried the sample pack first, only got through a few of them. But to BN’s credit the return process for the bulk pack was super easy, great communication. I’ve since changed to the vegan one, the texture and taste is very different! Would much prefer to use the whey version but alas its not be.
