I just got these and put them on. I needed another set of cans for tracking in the studio and these will more than do the trick. There are a lot of headphones out there claiming to be "mixing headphone" and IMHO, there is no such thing but they can be a good cross-reference as you mix. I bought these for tracking but will for sure use them to check the bass in my mixes. Yes, I said bass. These are a little light on the highs but I can tell that they will be also light on the ear fatigue. Where they shine is the bass. I got lucky here because I wanted them for the bassist for this week. He is going to LOVE them. They seem like they will be pretty durable and they are comfortable also. If you have large ears, you may find them a tad small, which is odd, because I have a huge head and the band is on the lowest adjustment so I guess that it's worth mentioning that small heads might have an issue with these. The only real criticism is that they let a LOT of outside noise in.

The first pair broke at the hinge after 6 months, and the manufacturer refused to replace them. Well done to Mannys/DJ Store for replacing them anyway. Ill buy more gear from them.

I finally found a pair of headphones that I actually like. I have purchased several headphones and always end up returning them because I'm never happy with the sound that they produce. I've been purchasing PreSonus software and hardware for a while now and figured I'd give their headphones a try, and I'm glad I did. They're also very comfortable!
The construction of these headphones were not what I expected. Earpiece broke after using them only three times. Lacking on the low end (deep bass) spectrum. I would expect this out of a lower priced headphone.
These headphones are a massive improvement in what I have used before now. As far as I have been able to ascertain from listening, so-far, they deliver on what they promise at a realistic price-point. They are also well built, robust and nicely finished. My one reservation, and it is not enough for me not to aware them five stars, is that the articulating movement of the ear-pieces around their central pivot, can be a bit of a puzzle if they swing to a position where they are, in effect 'inside-out' and have to be put back to their usable position again.
Great clarity, no bleed, and very comfortable. I have a home studio and therefore, I'm recording and also monitoring for long periods of time and these PreSonus Studio Headphones remain comfortable; even after wearing them for hours.
Overall:Proves you don't have to spend $500+ for a fantastic set of studio monitoring headphones. A few years back I ponied up a lot of cash for a pair of Beats Studio phones thinking they were going to be a great set of reference phones. Boy, do they suck compared to these. The bass response on these blows any type of Beats away - no joke. Sorry I don't have anything else to compare them to but for them, at this price, to literally make Beats headphones a joke is saying a lot.
The headphones provide professional performance for a very low price. Superior sound, ideal for use in the studio.
Sound:Absolutely clean with large frequency respone. No colorizationEase of Use:Out of the box perfectQuality:Very well made. wish the wire had been partially coiled. Seems a bit thin.Value:Far more valuableManufacturer Support:Presonus produces nothing but quality. From these to state of art Studio One 5The Wow Factor:They look and feel comfortable. Need I say more?Overall:Astounding set of cans in this price range. Just as good as Ive heard on phones costing hundreds more. Comfortable and clear. Could ask for nothing better in my modest home studio. I own so much Presonus gear its amazing and these followed in the footsteps of their quality. Highly recommended as is zZounds!
