Prime Hydration Glowberry Flavour 500ml

I have been wanting to do a review on these for months now. I've just been waiting until I was able to scan the bottle and bring the product up. My adult children who live at home with me love these Prime Hydration drinks. The Lemonade is the newest flavor. We just found it at our local supermarket. So of course they had to try it. They said it has a refreshing lemonade taste. I didn't try this one but I have some of the other flavors. It's so hard to believe these drinks only have 1g of sugar and 5g of carbs. The entire 16.9 oz bottle only has 25 calories. You really can't go wrong with this hydration drink. Especially if you like exercising and are outside doing anything. These will definitely keep you hydrated.

An unhealthy health drink? 🤔

Ok, where should I begin? These drinks are extremely controversial on the market right now, and everyone’s got their own opinion, but I encourage you to do a little bit of research on this product before you partake in a potentially dangerous trend…I’ll give it to you straight.In this bottle you’ll find some goodies such as: Manufactured Citric Acid (MCA), Sucralose, Synthetic Beta Carotene, Acesulfame Potassium, and finally, some good old ARTIFICIAL VITAMINS.This is NOT a healthy drink, and I for one, regret ever drinking it.

Great taste but a little to sweet.

This was my first time having this drink, and my family and I had mixed feelings on it. It has a very good taste, unexpected for a blue raspberry taste. There is a downside though and it is that it is a tad bit to sweet. It does not overall affect the taste much, but if you don't like things that are to sweet, then this may not be the drink for you. It tastes a little bit like sour patch in that sweet type of way. Another upside though are its health benefits. It is only 25 calories, but has over 800 electrolytes! Overall, I would buy this again in the future, but try the other flavors to see which is your cup of tea.

It tastes a little funny

So I bought a 12-pack of the orange flavor. I was excited to try these drinks. I've seen all reviews on Youtube, so when I finally was able to buy some, I was ecstatic. I've purchased all the flavors, by the way. So I've tried the lemon-lime and the grape flavors, and those tasted fine. Then I got to the orange flavor, and the only way I can describe how it tasted is when you're making Kool-Aid, and you put too much of the Kool-Aid pack and not enough sugar. It tasted sour. Now I could be overreacting because it is a citrus flavor, but given I've tasted the lime flavor, and there was no hint of sourness while drinking that one, it made me think, wow! Is this expired? Honestly thought it’d be terrible cause I’m not even that much of a fan of hydration drinks like Gatorade, Powerade, body armor, etc. But bro this drink legit tastes so good and I’m checking the aisle in the store I work at all the time to see if we got more in since the first time. We sold out at the end of the first day and I managed to get these two ABSOLUTE BANGERS the first trip before I clocked in, and then ended up buying 2 more Tropical Punch, an Orange, and a Lemon Lime to take home while I was on break and even the ones I thought would taste the worst, tasted amazing which absolutely blew my mind because I’m a religious soda drinker to a fault in all honesty, but I literally couldn’t believe it was actually that good. Meta Moon

My local grocery store has recently started carrying Prime, and I've been tasting all the individual bottles I can come across. So far, this one is the worst! Prime overall is a great tasting drink brand, and this one starts off sweet and nice like all the others. But soon enough it has a very bitter middle-ground taste, which my boyfriend joked tastes like IKEA upholstery. I'm not sure at all what the taste truly is, which is what led me to this site. It's got multiple flavors in one tasting that don't really meld together well, but they are definitely flavorful- that's for sure.

My New Favorite Must-Have Hydration Drink

I tried this drink reluctantly just because my boyfriend got it for me because he wanted me to stop drinking so much soda while i was pregnant🤰...I was very pleasantly surprised when I tasted it becauae it was absolutely DELICIOUS! 🤤lol I was truly mind blown by how good it was and even more blown away by how healthy it truly was🤯!! It quickly became my newest go-to drink. I heard they came out with energy drink versions of these drinks as well. I wonder if they are as good as the hydration versions?!? 🤔🤷‍♀️guess I will must have to try those too 😆

Unexpected Bodily Functions - Drink at your own risk

Overall taste - fantastic! I loved the fact that it has 2g of sugar and 5g of carbs. Significantly less than Gatorade. But what I was not prepared for was the churning of my stomach that came 10 minutes after finishing it. Now the first time it happened, I thought it was something else that I ate/drank. But come the second time, I had it after a very humid cycle workout and lift - the churning was accompanied by other violent bodily functions that were completely unexpected, on both occasions of consumption. I can't seem to pinpoint the exact ingredients that would cause this kind of reaction - I drink coconut water on a daily basis and I have never had a reaction such as this one. So I did a review on the orange flavor of Prime, and I said I would do an update once I tried the rest of the flavors. Well, after tasting and entirely drinking one bottle of every flavor. I've concluded that blue raspberry is by far the best flavor. Here's my ranking in order: 1. Blue Raspberry 2. Grape 3. Tropical Punch 4. Lemon Lime. 5. Orange. I based my ranking solely on which flavors didn't have the sour/old taste. This flavor was the only one that didn't taste like that. Come to think of it, the rest of the flavors all had that weird taste. It's hard for me to put into words, but the taste starts sweet, like when you don't stir your sugar into your drink well enough, and then the taste turns sour like it's expired.
