Pro Plan Beef & Carrots Wet Cat Food

My pit loves proplan! I notice that his coat is Shinessential more and he is very active and healthy! We switch flavors monthly so that he has more variety!

I like the option of canned food for my cat. Provides an excellent source of extra hydration for picky drinkers.

It helps to. Give them a shiny fur and they love the taste. It doesn't have many fat whichb is good for their health Besides, it's Purina so I trust

Intolerance friendly - no chicken or fish!

While carrots are included for human appeal only (so silly!) and I prefer pates to "gravy" options that have water as first ingredient, this is pretty much the only widely available wet cat food that does not have any chicken or fish lurking in it. No carrageenan either, which also puts it ahead of some of the more limited availability brands. Purina says that if not otherwise specified, the "liver" in their foods is from the named animal (i.e., beef in this case). Look out though - other similarly named beef Pro Plan varieties DO have chicken or fish so are not suitable for elimination diets. (And there are "meat by-products" in this one, so if you have concerns about non-poultry/non-fish critters in the food, be aware.)

great alternative to fancy feast , not too salty or strong flavour and the carrot gives it sweetness

The pate has been a long time favorite, but with interest shifting to more textured foods, I was happy to try this food. Wow! Very happy Gang of Four Cats! Even my pate kitty happily eats this. Would like it to be more available in the 5.5 Oz cans, but I’ll take this in any size to make my gang happy.

My cats' favorite

I tried this flavor once and my cats loved it. So I've been buying it ever since. They've some how achieved a tasty recipe by putting together beef and carrots. But remember to whip up the food good in the can to mix in the gravy evenly with the meat, before serving it to your cats.

Pricey but worth it

My cat LOVES this. It is a bit pricey but her health is important to me. She is free fed dry and gets half a can of this in the morning and the other half at night.Vet visits are always top notch: her coat is glossy, she is at ideal weight and has great muscle tone.

Tasty

Kitty loves it! A good mix of meat to gravy. It's one of the few tasty wet foods that actually has no chicken or poultry, and that's important for a chicken allergic feline. Her coat is thick, shiny, soft now, and like I said, kitty loves it.

Thank you - a life-saver

I am unable to obtain Pro Plan canned cat food anywhere in Hobart. It is wonderful that it is available via Pet Post.I'm not sure what I would do otherwise. Thank you so much.
