I was very surprised that my cats would not eat this food. They loved all the other ones in the pro plan just refused to eat this one. That’s 4 cats at my house and 3 cats at my daughters house. It smells just like beef stew to me but after a mouth full the cats just walk away and keep meowing for food. I thought about tasting it to see if it was bitter or something because I have a case of 24 cans but I just could not do that—- so unfortunately I made a mistake and did not return the rest before my return window expired so now I am stuck with it. They love wet food and the whole shelter inmates go wild when they hear a cat can get popped open. Maybe the shelter can use it. I guess mine are just too spoiled and picky.

I fed the purina pro plan savor adult turkey pasta entree in gravy canned cat food to my daughter's cat while her family was on vacation and he loved it. He's usually pretty picky what he eats and sometimes foods don't agree with his sensitive stomach. He loved this can cat food though and it didn't upset his tummy. I'm def gonna be buying more of this cat food for my daughter's cat and I would recconmend it to anyone. I'm glad I got to try this product as I received the sample product free.

Absolutely worth a try.

Having 6 pussycats it’s difficult to get a food that all 6 really like. Well 3 out of my 6 like this food so it’s a sort of a success. I do know my cats prefer Pate’ so naturally anything with chucks or shreds isn’t a total winner. But I wouldn’t reject this food because we cat owners know how finicky cats can be.

Cats Know Best

This is my second attempt to review ProPlan Chunky Chicken wet cat food. I have four cats (one I am babysitting for). I take one small can of the chunky chicken and divide it into four section daily. This way they get the wonderful taste (nothing beats this particular variety) and then eat their dry the rest of the day, allowing their teeth and bones good health. If my cats could rate it, the would give it a solid 10.

Cats seem to enjoy it!

Its hard to review this product honestly, as a human, who does not eat cat food. My cats seemed to enjoy the food well enough. But then they enjoy most chicken soft foods.My only complaint about the food is the size. We typically give our cats some wet food in the evening before we go to bed. They each get a scoop or so. Most can sizes allow for multiple servings. These small cans only offer 2, maybe 3 servings per, which is unfortunate.We do enjoy Pro Plan products for our animals though. The nutritional balance and the high quality ingredients make them the logical choice for animals when you care about what type of food is going in.

Disappointed.

Love that WalMart had the cat food recommended by my vet.... BUT was distressed when I opened the package and 12 of the 24 cans were dented. Not just dinged. Really dented so that they were leaking...and therefore unusable. It was due to both the packaging and the packing...AND the FEDEX delivery! 1) The Purina box was way too short giving zero support on the sides to of the top row of cans (thus the 12 out of 24 damage). 2) But also the packing was one strip of bubble wrap tossed in on top of the cans...nothing wrapped around the sides of the low Purina box and not enough on top to provide any kind of stabilization to the box contents. And a double whammy: 3) The entire side of the box was wet for some reason....And Finally, the FEDEX driver placed the WalMart box ... MoreLove that WalMart had the cat food recommended by my vet.... (I'm 74, walk with a cane, and am never grumpy...so you can see why I felt as if I'd struck out...3 for 3!) This was too bad because I've always given both WalMart and FedEx 5 stars!

Great chicken food for my cat

My cat really enjoyed this Purina Pro Plan Chunky Chicken Entrée Classic Wet Cat Food. It has a nice moist and chunky consistency with some juice in it. My cat enjoys chicken flavored food, but never tried this one from Purina. I was happy to see that she really liked it. I usually give can food as a treat to supplement her dry food. This is one she enjoyed and I’m happy with the quality of the ingredients. It’s full of vitamins and protein that are good for her, so I feel good giving this as a meal or treat. It has a fresh and savory smell out of the can. I want to stock up on this so I can keep this as part of her diet since it’s working out. I would recommend it.

Great price and sure of being in stock!

Began buying this at PetSmart a year ago, and it’s been my kitty’s favorite since, she really enjoys it and that makes me so happy! But since that first purchase, PetSmart doesn’t keep it in stock or even online, so I’m so happy I’ve been able to get it from Walmart, and for the same price give or take a few cents so I’m really grateful…yay Walmart! Since finding out how insufficient and unhealthy dry cat food is for our pets, this brand of pro plan wet food is a very healthy and affordable way to give your cat the better nutrition they need and deserve.

I AM A VERY STAISFIED CUSTOMER!

I liked everything about my purchase. I bought 8 cases of wet food and a 4 lb bag of dry food and 2 bags of snacks. Everything I ordered was in stock and on my porch within three days. I always shop for my cat's needs for these reasons. Efficient, easy, and fast. Walmart also provides excellent service if needed. A great shopping experience overall.

Satisfaction

Great for picky eaters. I have a foster cat that will only eat this cat food. She’s only 5 pounds. A teeny, tiny thing so finding something she’ll eat is very important. I went through countless other brands and flavors until I found this. She took to it right away. It also agrees with her more than the others. Less vomiting. I highly recommend it if you have a picky eater.
