They certainly do the job but they are monstrous briquettes and when you've only got a tiny tiny smoker like I do they are very hard to work with. Do i think they are worth the massive price tag or are any better then say, Heat Beads, or Hotshots......No. I will go back to Bunnings and buy what 'always bought. Good to try new things though

These briquettes provided a very clean heat to roast a leg of lamb over a fire pit. Would definitely use again for similar purpose.
Decent enough. Consistent on temps, but a bit hard to light at times and very ashy.
Good temperature, however they do not last as long as the solid briquettes. so more topping up the smoker and using more briquettes.
These briquettes are amazing quality. Burns for a long time and eventhough it infuses your food with a smoky charcoal taste it doesn't get onto your clothes or hair which is a bonus. Would definately recommend. Fairly easy to light with a chimney.
Slow consistent burn, consistent temp, great for snake method in kettles.
