I don’t know if it’s something I would actually purchase for myself, but I’m also not exactly the target audience.

I haven’t used benzoyl peroxide on my skin since I had acne in middle school but my hormonal acne has recently gotten pretty bad and I needed a new product. I tried using salicylic treatment pads from the drugstore and those broke me out but this Proactiv Repairing Treatment actually worked! I was worried from a few reviews that it may be too drying or can cause more acne but this wasn’t the case for me. I just make sure to wear a good, creamy moisturizer on top. The product is a lightweight gel that gets completely absorbed by the skin and doesn’t really have a fragrance.

i received the green tea moisturizer to test: I have sensitive skin, but it’s also a little on the dry side. This moisturizer would be great for summer, or for someone who has oily skin. It did not irritate my face at all. I used it after I washed, toned, and applied tatcha essence to my face; it was just a little too light for me. The texture is like a gel moisturizer. I ended up applying my regular moisturizer to get the tightness out of my face. I will definitely keep this for summer use.

I received this complimentary sample in the mail about a week ago and OH MY GOODNESS ! This moisturizer is by far the best thing I’ve used on my skin! It feels light on the skin, doesn’t have that oily feeling and doesn’t have any harsh smells to it! Once applied, my skin took a couple of minutes to let it sit absorb and it was rather refreshing. If you’re looking for a moisturizer to use under makeup this is definitely the one! It won’t feel like you have tons of product just as you’re about to apply even more product to your face if that makes sense. You can also use it on its own so that pretty awesome! I used the Repairing treatment on my t-zone as that is where I am oily the most. This treatment is a very lightweight, almost gel-like cream. It absorbs quickly into the skin. I use it between serum moisturizer. It doesn’t have much of a scent, which I appreciate. In the beginning I used it every other day in the morning but I was able to use it daily after 2 weeks. I didn’t find that it dried out my skin. I noticed that my t-zone was less oily I had much less whiteheads. I’m so glad that Proactive is more easily accessible without the subscription model from years ago.

I am using it every day and I am finding that it is leaving my skin nice and soft to the touch but not too oily which can often be a problem for my skin and complexion.

I have never used Proactiv before, but was excited to try these products. My skin had occasional breakouts, but has been feeling congested and dry due to the weather changes and wearing my mask. That being said, this product is great! It’s very lightweight and feels like a serum going on. A lot of times benzoyl peroxide can really dry out my skin but this has not been my experience. I use this with the Green Tea Moisturizer and I really like the results. My skin feels healthy and moisturized and the texture from congestion is less visible after a few days. Product price point is a little high for the ingredient list, but I feel like it’s showing me great results!

My skin glows while using Proactiv products

My skin used to be so bad that I would use heavy makeup to cover up all the redness and acne on my face. When I discovered Proactiv, I quickly found out that it works well with my skin which glows now. I don't mind if I go without makeup. It works best when I follow the directions on the packaging and not just slap it on my face. "use as directed" :) As a side note, I would say that you don't have to use all three products that Proactiv promotes. I'm allergic to the toner (step 2) so I simply use the cleanser and then the repairing lotion.

The only thing that works without a script

I used proactive 15 years ago when I had my first break out as a teenager and am still breaking out at 32 to this day. I've tried every product under the Sun and in between. This seems to be the only topical cream that makes a big impact without a script. When you put it on you can feel it tingling and what literally feels like dissolving the bacteria on my skin. With the warm weather coming up, it has a tendency to exacerbate my acne. This is a real winner that keeps things at bay. Not sure why other BP irritates my skin, but this just works. I recommend only applying to your problem areas.
