I purchased the ProForm Sport CX Exercise Bike at my local Sam's Club and after getting it home to start putting it together, I noticed rust and paint peeling off the bottom pieces of the bike. I didn't think too much about it because it wouldn't show once the bottom bars are attached. Assembling the bike was going smoothly until I get to the point where I need to connect the wires inside the handlebar. The problem was there were only wires and no connector clip. The store that I purchased the bike did not have any replacement bikes available in stock so I contacted Sam's customer service for assistance. I was told that I could return it for a refund or find another store to exchange it. WOW, no kidding!?!?!?! The problem with the left pedal was that the manufacturer painted the pedal thread and that caused pedal to not fit easily. This is what I did to install it. I tried to fit about half of the tread to the hole. Then, I removed it completely from hole. At his point, you can see that the paint on half of the tread has been removed. Installing it again with the paint off the tread is so much easier to the point that you can use your fingers to do it.To install the motor cover, you have to use a metal drill bit size of 5/32. This job takes about less than 30 seconds to do.
