Prograde cards in general have been a great value and dead reliable every time I've bought them. I have been running 128GB V90s with my C70 since I first received it with not a single hickup. When the C70 firmware update added the new RAW LT and ST shooting modes I realized a few 128GB cards still wasn't going to equal a long shooting day, so I reached for the 512GB version. As usual, I have yet to be disappointed. Runs every quality and frame rate the C70 can come up with, and works great on most shooting modes in my R5C outside of the 8K RAW.

I took this card with me to Mongolia. In the middle of my first use, the card was corrupted. I have about 3000 images on that card that is completely lost. The computer dose not even recognize the card. I have done all the recommended steps trying to recover my files and unsuccessful. Mongolia is long way to go to lose you images. This the second card with this brand that is corrupted.

So for those who would like to shoot certain shots on 4K S&Q @ 120fps (4x slow motion in camera), then this card will help you unlock that feature on your a7siii.Unlike slower write card where your camera gives you an error / warning message when you are trying to shoot in S&Q mode @120fps.So do I like this card ?? ... that would be understatement ... I love these ProGrade card so much so that I have 12 of them and have used them for past 3 years on all my Sony camera.Previously I have used them on Sony a7iii, a7Riii, Canon R5 / R6 and now being used on a7siii and a7iv on daily basis. These are the UHS-II V90 card that your a7Siii card

I've been a professional full-time photographer for more than ten years and I know that the most important thing from every shoot, the reason the clients are paying me, is for the photos and videos that I create from that shoot. Ever since the release of the Canon 5D Mk III, I've been duplicating data for my still images during every shoot, writing each image to two cards which made me feel confident that I'd never lose an image (and I never have), but this last year I started shooting video for clients and purchased the Canon EOS R, which only has one card slot. Since the content I produce is the most important thing and I could no longer duplicate it on the spot, I knew that I had to get the most reliable SD Cards I could. Since the content I produce is the most important thing and I could no longer duplicate it on the spot, I knew that I had to get the most reliable SD Cards I could. In the past I've used Lexar cards for my entire career, but from online reviews, it appears that their quality has gone down in the last few years (the company was also sold during this time), and I cannot afford the risk of losing any content. I had heard of Prograde from a friend, so I started researching them and through my research was convinced that they make superior cards to other manufacturers an I ended up purchasing one of their v90 cards. The card is so incredibly fast and I'm very confident in the safety of my data on this card. I have a Lexar card that's rated fast enough for me to shoot 4K video on it, but in reality it won't buffer fast enough and can't keep up with the camera, so I was forced to shoot in 1080p with that card. I've never been able to out shoot my prograde card, or seen it bog down or slow down in anyway. I'll be buying only prograde cards from now on.
After doing the research I find this card to be the top of the line in terms of quality and price! All the fancy Sony cards and even the SanDisk cards are great and reliable, but they come with a bigger $$$ price tag.If you did the research there are other brands like Lexar that has a similar price tag to ProGrade, but quite a few negative 1 star reviews because it's not as reliable and loses data.So if you want the perfect balance between affordability and great quality, this is for you!I've been using this card for over 6 moths now and no issues, great work horse! I recommend it. Using it with the Sony a7C on highest resolution S-Log in 4K. No complaints. Just shot an interview and it gives me almost 4 hours of shooting using the highest resolution.
I am not the type of person to complain and write reviews but since using ProGrade cards (more specifically 512gb v90) I have never had so many corrupt files in my life. I have so much anxiety using ProGrade cards that I don't think I can use them anymore. There have been multiple times I have had corrupt files. Most times it's just been a small video clip that wasn't really that important, but now after losing half the speeches of a wedding I can't trust ProGrade anymore. It is sad because I really loved the speed of the transfer rate and the 512gg size to fit Canon R5 4K video.
I originally purchased 2 of these from B&H in August of 2019. They worked well for a year. At almost the year anniversary, both cards failed at the same time while at a shoot. No data was lost, but they refused to write any information to them at all. After contacting ProGrade Support - they replaced the cards no questions asked in August 2020 (yay!). Fast forward to October 2021 - almost a year after getting the new cards from prograde SAME ISSUE HAPPENED AGAIN. Except this time I lost a card full of video files. After contacting ProGrade Support again, they offered to replace the cards no questions asked (yay?), but the caveat here is that I'm still out a full card's worth of data... If you're planning on purchasing, or have already purchased, just know they will probably go bad right around the 1 year mark... Be careful. So, here I am 2 years after initial purchase vowing to never put another ProGrade card back in a camera. From how I see it - it's just not worth it.
I'm a hybrid shooter using Sony A1, A7R4, A74 and 6600 for mainly corporate events.Purchased the 128 GB sd card 2 pack and one of the clips was corrupted and had 28gb of footage on it or about an 50-75 mins during a keynote speaker with my A cam. I had already recorded 14 VIP interviews the day before and they still remained on the card. Fortunately the rest of the day the other clips that were 18gb, 20gb and 8gb were not unsupported or damaged. Trying to use the Prograde evaluation software to recover the file but it's not looking good. Kind of disappointed that BH would carry a brand that is brand new and I'm having buyers remorse along with some terrible anxiety that my hard work is lost. Sure I have an off camera shot with my gimbal but it was mostly b roll. ... MoreI'm a hybrid shooter using Sony A1, A7R4, A74 and 6600 for mainly corporate events.Purchased the 128 GB sd card 2 pack and one of the clips was corrupted and had 28gb of footage on it or about an 50-75 mins during a keynote speaker with my A cam. Guess I should have purchased the more expensive Sony version along with the Cexpress cards for Slot 1.
I finally received my FX6 a few months ago after purchasing it in December 2021.It is a great camera but requires faster cards for higher bit-rate codecs. The CF-Express Type A cards are very expensive and have smaller capacities, so I needed a middle ground for media.4K24p - 240 MBPS or 30 MB/s4K60p - 600 MBPS or 75 MB/S4K120P - I can't find the specifications for this mode.In the FX6, you consistently get a warning of Not recommended media. Anytime you get to 4K60 or 4K120p, you have the potential for the camera to stop recording or corrupt the cards. I was filming in 4K60p at a wedding with a V30 card, and the camera stopped twice that day. For testing, I dual recorded at 4K120p until the cards got full to see if there would be any issues. I'm happy to say that the cards held up to the test.
After a lot of research I purchased the Pro Grade 256GB V90 SD Card and Pro Grade Dual slot SD card Reader. The main reason for these purchases was to lower the amount of time spent downloading footage as I am a wedding Videographer and I usually have to transfer about 150 GB of footage after a days shoot which can be a very long time especially if you have to back that footage up several times. Just after receiving the Prograde SD card that day I tested it out using my Sony A7Sii, Sony 6500, and Sony 6400 all the footage would freeze for 30 sec then play through for 4 sec and repeat this processes during playback of the video files. I contacted Prograde were they attempted to diagnose the problem but ultimately suggested I return it for a replacement for no charge other than paying for shipping to there location in California. After 3 months of use on the Prograde Dual Slot SD card reader after a it would register that it was disconnected from the computer at random times, this happened in a lot of separate occasions and evn when it was transferring files. I thought it might be the connection/ port it was plugged into, but after testing and getting the same results on all of the ports on my desktop and even my laptop I had my SD card reader returned paying for the shipping to send it out. Now after recieving the second SD card that was resent out to me I attempted to record a time lapse and while transferring the image files (50 files in total) it took 5 min! To give you some perspective you could transfer those file on the cheapest SD card in 10- 15 seconds without a problem, but that is actually the least of my issues because after inspecting the files 2 or 3 of those Pictures are ruined and disfigured, and Pixilized I unloaded 3 pictures from another seprate test from some images. I originally thought that it was something to do with the shutter but after I tested the same time lapse using a San Disc SD card (a much cheaper one) and while after taking a 100 photos in a row with no issues. It might not seem like an issue to have 2 or 3 of the 50 images fail but reliability is everything, and I am paying a premium price for a unreliable products. Oh and while this is happening Pro Grade had written the wrong shipping address to send the SD card reader to me which resulted in waiting an extra 3 weeks to recieve it. I understand that you might receive a bad product every now and then and to the credit of Pro Grade they allowed both my returns and shipped me 2 new products. Unfortunately I am no longer able to send the second SD card for a refund because of how long it took to send it out and receive the previous one (resulting in me losing $330 dollars for the SD card and approximately $35 I have lost for shipping the returned items to add insult to injury. Not to mention 2 month's waiting for the products to be received due to failure's in writing the correct shipping address on their part. I have lost all confidence in this brand entirely, even if I were to receive another SD card for free from them! I had 3 out of 3 failures with their products, not to mention that If the same problems I had experienced happened filming for one of my client's it would be catastrophic, and having to tell a bride that the footage of her wedding is now ruined because of the SD card I used to record it on is faulty. I really wanted to love this product.
