ProGrade cards consistently deliver speed and reliable performance. The 256gb card performs admirably in my Sony A1 for 8K video as well as 4K 120p. For all I-frame recording, need to use the CFast Express A, but for other video formats, the ProGrade is tops. And their data recovery software gives added peace of mind.

This isn't just a private label. Somehow, they got a factory to tool up with an improved polymer, improved PCB, lower resistance, higher power handling...I was wondering if these things were worth it, or even good at all. They are.All the real specifications are right there in your face. No nonsense. You know precisely what it's going to do, and it's built to last and endure all those high data rate cycles.People don't think about that. This stuff does wear, and heat is how it happens. This card can take a beating, and is worth every penny. I know where I'm getting my cards from now on.

These are extremely fast cards. I pair them with CF Express cards in my Canon R5.I used SDXC cards to extract images on my other Canon cameras with dual slots because they slipped right into my laptop. Not anymore. These cards are fast enough for 8k video at 30 fps but the CF Express cards are so very much faster, I now pull them instead and use ProGrade Digital?s external reader.

So for those who would like to shoot certain shots on 4K S&Q @ 120fps (4x slow motion in camera), then this card will help you unlock that feature on your a7siii.Unlike slower write card where your camera gives you an error / warning message when you are trying to shoot in S&Q mode @120fps.So do I like this card ?? ... that would be understatement ... I love these ProGrade card so much so that I have 12 of them and have used them for past 3 years on all my Sony camera.Previously I have used them on Sony a7iii, a7Riii, Canon R5 / R6 and now being used on a7siii and a7iv on daily basis. These are the UHS-II V90 card that your a7Siii card
I've been a professional full-time photographer for more than ten years and I know that the most important thing from every shoot, the reason the clients are paying me, is for the photos and videos that I create from that shoot. Ever since the release of the Canon 5D Mk III, I've been duplicating data for my still images during every shoot, writing each image to two cards which made me feel confident that I'd never lose an image (and I never have), but this last year I started shooting video for clients and purchased the Canon EOS R, which only has one card slot. Since the content I produce is the most important thing and I could no longer duplicate it on the spot, I knew that I had to get the most reliable SD Cards I could. Since the content I produce is the most important thing and I could no longer duplicate it on the spot, I knew that I had to get the most reliable SD Cards I could. In the past I've used Lexar cards for my entire career, but from online reviews, it appears that their quality has gone down in the last few years (the company was also sold during this time), and I cannot afford the risk of losing any content. I had heard of Prograde from a friend, so I started researching them and through my research was convinced that they make superior cards to other manufacturers an I ended up purchasing one of their v90 cards. The card is so incredibly fast and I'm very confident in the safety of my data on this card. I have a Lexar card that's rated fast enough for me to shoot 4K video on it, but in reality it won't buffer fast enough and can't keep up with the camera, so I was forced to shoot in 1080p with that card. I've never been able to out shoot my prograde card, or seen it bog down or slow down in anyway. I'll be buying only prograde cards from now on.
... and the only V90 offer in this big size. Excellent for my Sony A1 and extensive wildlife and birds shots.Could be a little cheaper...I would wish ProGrade would make fast CF-A cards as big as Sony offers now (640Gb), for a much better price.
I am not the type of person to complain and write reviews but since using ProGrade cards (more specifically 512gb v90) I have never had so many corrupt files in my life. I have so much anxiety using ProGrade cards that I don't think I can use them anymore. There have been multiple times I have had corrupt files. Most times it's just been a small video clip that wasn't really that important, but now after losing half the speeches of a wedding I can't trust ProGrade anymore. It is sad because I really loved the speed of the transfer rate and the 512gg size to fit Canon R5 4K video.
I started using this card in September 2020, when I purchased the Canon R6. It was the only card that could keep up when shooting sports and action.I now also shoot with the Fuji XT5, and I won't switch. This card has proven to be reliable and fast. I really won't shoot with any other card.
I got a couple of these cards as well as the 256GB versions for my Sony mirrorless cameras and they are fantastic. There's almost no buffering when taking multiple shots. The v90 ratings with these cards mean I don't have to worry about them not being able to handle the high bitrate recordings I shoot often. The transfer speeds are super fast when using a ProGrade dual SD card reader.I've saved so much time compared to other cards and readers I've used in the past.I'm VERY satisfied with these cards and the customer service I've received. ProGrade makes cards that just work and work really well!!
I’ve used the cards in my Canon R5c for photo’s and video’s and it works fine. They are faster then the normal micro SD cards I use.I like not using the SD to micro SD adapter because when I use these sometimes the camera doesn’t recognize the card.Must have a card reader that also has the v90 reading capability to also have the maximum speed working in the computer.
