This was a waste of money. I regular jar with water works better. I was also able to keep my cilantro fresh for longer in the regular grocery store produce bag all tied up in the fridge. My cilantro went bad too quickly in this item.
So glad I purchased this herb keeper. I love that it has the feature to cut herbs as needed. I would buy cilantro and try storing it in a cup with water and putting a plastic bag over; but I would worry about it spilling over in fridge. This solved the problem.
I bought this because I am tired of throwing away wilted herbs. It does a great job of keeping them fresh!
So glad I bought this!! I buy cilantro all the time and have to use it up so quick a lot of times it goes bad but with this it keeps two weeks longer!!! Love it! Thanks
I ordered this herb keeper to keep parsley, but I returned it because it's narrow and doesn't work well for storing a bunch of parsley. I even tried to store asparagus in it and the bunch of asparagus (abt a lb.) was too large in circumference to store in the container.
I have used this herb keeper for cilantro and asparagus and it’s a money saver. No more wilted herbs or rotting veggies. Everything stays crisp and fresh well over a week.
