Reasonably compact unit and also pretty easy to set up. The light is handy and the clamps are solid and will fit over mostly any terminals, they also seem to be non sparking as advertised. Never had an issue with jump starting my vehicle.

I bought this little Jump Starter for our Mercedes Benz Sprinter Camper Van which has 4 cylinder turbo charged diesel. I decided I should test it properly before going on a trip and so I installed an old battery in the van and turned the lights on for a while until the battery voltage was about 4 volts. I connected the Intelli-Start to the Sprinter's +ve Jump Start connector but then realised that the negative lead of the Intelli-Start is not long enough to reach the ground point provided on the Sprinter. However the negative lead did read a suitable point on the engine. I followed the simple instructions. When the green light came up telling me it was ready. I started the engine and way it went - no problems at all. I waited about thirty seconds until it was fully ... I gave this 4 stars only because the instruction are incomplete. As far as the jump starter goes, once I worked out how it actually worked, I would give it 5 stars. I started my 3 ltr diesel 4 times as I shopped for a replacement battery.
Not you average jump start kick, but not the best. Seems to kick ok and will start v6 diesel motor. Seems built ok like it can bounce around in the back of the ute without falling apart.
I have only tried to use this once, attempted to jump start a battery from a Mazda 3, so not even a heavy duty battery, like in my 4WD which I was assured it would start. The unit failed to even crank the battery from the Small mazda
Bought this as my ranger was getting sluggish to start in the morning. Charged the unit overnight when bought and luckily I bought this as the following day the car wouldn’t start and this made it jump to life as I had expected. The following day, same issue, went to use this again as it states on a full charge will start a diesel 34 times, wouldn’t start the car. Had to plug in the car battery charger to get the car to start. I’m trying again with an overnight charge of the unit before possibly returning. So far not worth the money, a new battery would have been cheaper.
Was the easiest of jump-starter I have ever used.Only 1 attempt and it died on me. Luckly I carry spare battery as a backup.
A convenient & compact unit that easily started-up my 2 Litre petrol engine. Unfortunately, the protective flap over the cable port fell off in the dark, without me realizing. The flap was probably not securely installed in manufacturing but Repco kindly sorted this issue.
I've given it a middle rating because I haven't used it. I bought it as per description ie EMERGENCY jump starter. Still waiting to use it. If it doesn't perfaorm as advertised you can be sure I'll let you know!!!
