Have been using this charger for five years. Found that with a small manual input this charger has charged a number of batteries without checking at regular times, from 300 cca to 700 cca overnight and no problems have presented. Well worth to buy.

I bought this charger a week ago, test in my sedan car, works perfect. I wish it came with long cable. I strongly recommend this charger for Sedan, 4x4 and Bike. I have 3 vehicles.

Easy to use and easy to store. Great quality. The features make it easy to understand and use. Works brilliantly and is well worth its price. Would highly recommend it as a backup option to Sola when traveling.
I bought the Projecta Pro-Charge Battery Charger - 12V 8A - PC800 one and half years ago and have used it lots of time. The car batteries which have been charged are from 3.5L and 2.4L engine cars. It has worked very well and the feature to restore a weak battery was impressive (drove the card for 45minutes did not bring the battery back to normal but charging it with this charger for about 8 hours did recover the battery). Obviously it would not be able to restore a complete dead battery (set the battery type to "REJ" can make it to repair/restore the battery). The dead battery was stuck at 10.6v after setting to REJ mode for 30 hours.This 8A charger is okay for normal car batteries. However, if I buy it again, I would choose a higher current capacity model.I ... We live on a remote isolated island with charging requirements for a golf buggy, boat and 4WD. It’s essential that these start and operate reliably.As replacement for a 30 year old charger, the technology, build quality and operation of this unit is first rate. An excellent purchase and highly recommended.
Unlike competing products in this price range, this charger cannot start a battery that has discharged below 3V. This limitation is not mentioned, and requires faffing around with jumper cables to get the battery started before this charger can take over.This limitation was not mentioned in the product description or specs and frankly is disappointing when other similar chargers can do this.

Bought a Projecta Power Hub a couple of months ago ($500). To charge battery while at home, you need the battery charger - another expense. Power Hub should’ve come with charger for its price. It’s basically a shell for $500!
can't really fault it. good solid unit, does what it says.cables could be a little thicker, and a couple of side-hooks to wind the cables up and around wouldn't go amiss, specially for some better cable management.But it does come with a black plastic storage pouch which isn't shown in the photos. Have kept the manual and a few other bits and pieces in there.
