Proraso After Shave Eucalyptus Lotion 100 ml

The scent and formula have changed along with the new bottle design. I loved the previous version; the reformulation may work for some, but not for me, because of the new scent. Scent is very subjective, but here is my take on the changes: The old one smelled exactly like the green soap with strong Eucalyptus and Menthol note, which would quickly evaporate during the day - all features I liked. The new one does not smell like the "green" soap at all, even if those 2 ingredients are still listed, it reminds me more of the Nivea Originals Aftershave Balm. I also found the new scent to linger longer and the balm not to provide the same cooling sensation as the old version.Altogether it's a dealbreaker for me and I will not buy again.

Finishing with Proraso White's post shave is a nice finishing touch. Goes on cool, has that nice ginger-ish, soft tea and oats scent, it's a great way to start the day. For anyone who can't or don't want to use Proraso Green, go for Proraso White. It has definitely kept to what made the green such a favorite but toned it down such that those who can't or don't want to deal with Green's eucalyptus and menthol nuke to the face, can still get that nice fresh cool feel without feeling like you just walked out of ground zero So why did I give it a 4* rating instead of 5* ? The bottle itself, specifically, the cap. I received mine with the cap loose almost falling off the neck of the bottle and some spillage in the box. It won't cap tightly and it'll loosen itself. Alvin I hope you are reading this, ship this particular batch you have with something to secure the cap otherwise your customers will be very pissed if they received the item with half its contents spilled.

PRORASO is the favorite Italian's barber's line through tree generations. I am 45 and Italian and I can attest how this is SO true lol The "green" normal skin variation smells like old man for me. This "white" sensitive is much much better. It works really well. It doesnt hurt my super fair skinned husband face. Goes on really light (comparable to a summer liquid women' lotion). It helps to avoid that flaking from shaving on sensitive skin. Scent is mild, classic barbershop scent (translates green tea and oat) . I was so happy few years ago i was finally able to find this in the US! That Christmas I gifted 3 sets with the whole line to my men relatives.

Excellent choice for drying skin

I wanted a product without alcohol and without witch hazel as I really only needed something for mildly dry skin post shave.This is it. A little goes a long way and it is easily worked into the skin. I like that it is a light lotion so it can be reapplied as desired/if needed (as opposed to heavier stuff that you apply once and wonder all day when you will break and wash it off...). It definitely leaves your face smooth, not sticky or shiny. Looks great, feels great.The scent is unique but refreshing. I believe the primary scent is aloe(?). The scent does not linger so no worries either way.

Good But Needs Work, Proraso—

Good. This is a nice lotion, much like a bottle of unscented Nivea goop I use. It’s not at all greasy, a little dab’ll do ya, and soothes the gent’s delicate skin.I myself am not super jazzed on it, however. At least in the bottle I received a couple weeks ago, the menthol note is far reduced compared to Proraso green label shave cream and pre/post shave balm. With those, you shave, shmeer and go.The balm sample I have is much heavier on the eucalyptus which is a little jarring after the shaving cream, with its heavier menthol blend. I sometimes go to Mitchell’s Wool Fat Soap, which has a light soapy kind of fragrance and this balm isn’t bad with that.Seems to be just a Proraso thing: green label aficions note the after shave and cologne also differ noticeably ... MoreGood. I keep the after shave for cold days where a lot of menthol isn’t so helpful, but want that Proraso stink when I head out.Bottom line, I’ll keep this and use it, but unless I get feedback saying I got a bad batch and other samples really match up with the shave cream, I’m not likely to buy more.

Great Products!

I've always enjoyed the effects of Menthol and Eucalyptus in most aftershaves that contain the two. In 86 years, I've tried a few, with Pororaso being the best I have experienced. I have one compliant, the top of the container is too large to keep too much Lotion from spilling. Please redesign the opening of the container, you only need a very small hole to be efficient. Thank You!

I miss the old Proraso

The scent of the new "green" Proraso aftershave lotion doesn't begin to compare with the previous "amber" lotion. I got many compliments on the old formula, but this new scent disappears quickly after starting out with an odd scent that's hard to describe other than -- unappealing. It improves after a few minutes, but then disappears. The feel is about the same as the old amber formula, with a bit more menthol. Overall, if both were still available I'd choose the amber formula over this one every time. The new green formula will probably have me switching brands of aftershave. I have also tried the new Proraso balm, and found its scent utterly unappealing.

Not for me!

Many of the reviews for this product talk about a mild or subtle scent but when I tried this out, I found it overpowering and not to my liking at all.The smell, as far as I can describe it, is chemical and unnatural. It *is* a very traditional masculine scent but reminded me of overpowering cologne the manly mustachioed motorcycle-riding man who cut my hair as a kid in the early '90s.After two uses (I tried to give it a chance!), I swapped it for Chiseled Face's Sherlock, which I've been using daily for seven months and would give five stars.

Proraso Refreshing and Toning After Shave Lotion 400ml

This aftershave is tried and true product. It smells like no other competitor. The menthol is bracing yet reserved. The witch hazel and allantoin help sooth irritated skin. A big bottle will last six months if you use the atomizer.

The Go-To

This is my second bottle of PAS and I'm a huge fan. This is my daily go-to. The product exits perfectly from the bottle which is in great proportion for the price. The smell is undefinable but I'll try: slightly menthol, slightly citrus with just a hint of eucalyptus sweetening things up; divine and summery. The skin hit is mellow but effective on a freshly shaven face and the scent will last about an hour. A bit more for close encounters (wink). PAS should be in every man's den/cabinent!
