Great for starting gold panning, though could include a strong magnet to assist in sorting metal dirt and tin from the gold. Great value for money as a start up first peice for amateur fossickers.

I needed other set of pans for some friends to use so I bought this pack for $50 thinking it was a good deal.I was sadly mistaken, the large pan has three large circles which must be from the molding process, they interfere with the panning process and now I have to sand them down, the tweezers and magnifying glass is just a gimmick The tweezer are useless and can't pick up a pea yet alone any gold.As I have used them, I can't return them.Stick to the better brands and you won't be disappointed
As a novice in gold panning, I found the Prospecting 7 piece Gold Panning Kit to be simple to use and in my first pan along the upper reaches of the Shoalhaven River near Oallen Ford NSW I actually found my first few specks of gold. I have since watched several You Tube videos on gold panning and I now can't wait to try my luck again with the Gold Panning Kit from Anaconda. My only added suggestion to the Kit is to include a trowel (small shovel), to dig around the crevices where gold may be trapped from the moving river or creek water, and loading it in your pan for panning. I do highly recommend the Kit to first timers, and I am sure experienced gold panners would find the kit excellent.
