Great all round guitar. Big range of sounds produced with the switching available from the 3 pickups and coil tap switch. The finish is to die for and the treatment they give to the maple neck is out of this world. It looks new, but feels played in - perfect. All you need and nothing you don't needTypical PRS build quality and attention to detail. Set up was perfect for meI gave it an 8 because, well....it is expensive! For example there are PRS SE guitars out there at less than half the price and it is hard to argue that this is more than twice as good as them. However, I am happy with what I paid and over the moon with the guitar

I had always kinda wanted a PRS. When these new SE models dropped a few weeks ago and were 20% off, I decided it was time. This guitar was perfect out of the box. Great setup, impeccable build quality, awesome sound and flexible pickup options. So glad I bought it!

Playing country and some blues. Love the variety of tones I can get. 22 frets is a great feature. Received compliments on the looks and the sound. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a versatile, very playable guitar.

I wasn't planning on buying a guitar when I walked into GC that day. I picked this guitar up, played it for a bit and took it home,it was that good. I've had lots of pricy name brand guitars including USA made PRS guitars and this keeps up with them without spending thousands, it pro quality!
I found one in a big box music store, I wasnt looking to buy a guitar, but I thought this plays looks and sounds great,I like it better than many of the SE guitars ive tried and owned, even better that the US made S2 models, its worth a look!
I received this guitar yesterday, Something about the pickup combinations and the Swamp Ash combined with the Maple fingerboard that just makes me love this guitar. The is guitar has a lot of tones and to me, very organic tones which is something I enjoy. The Swamp Ash body and grain in just beautiful and glossy, the neck has a great feel and has a satin feel for smooth movement. It was on sale and I have zero regrets pulling the trigger on this guitar.
I bought this for ny 14-year old son who has aout 9 months of lessons under hs belt. We love the look, sound and feel of this guitar. We also like the gig bag, it's nice quality.
Not too much to write about this other than it is fantastic. A PRS SE with HSH? Check. Swamp Ash body? Check. Beautiful maple neck AND fretboard? Check. Bolt-on in the SE family? CHECK. This guitar's got bite, attitude, but can mellow out very well and may as well be among my top favorites of my 25 guitars I own at the moment. Fret's polished nicely, set up fantastic out of the box, frets rounded too. No sharp ends anywhere. You could tell me that my example costs $2,000+ and I would believe it.
If you are looking for the versatility of a Strat and the bite of a Tele with a bit more gain, this is the ticket. Fantastic PRS craftsmanship, light and balanced, great intonation with whammy bar and locking tuners. The narrowfield pickups are perfect IMO - Touch sensitve and sound like noiseless P-90s. Get this one while they last.
Just received this guitar today and I didn't have long to play it but my first impressions were all extremely positive. The craftsmanship and finishing detail was perfect. Even the setup and action was perfect as far as I'm concerned. The pickups really impressed me in that they were clear and articulate no matter where you put the volume knob. Full on 10 it has a humbucker quality tone but still very clear and as I backed down on the volume knob they cleaned up to a definite single coil tone but didn't lose any punch and stayed full sounding. Volume backed off it sounds very much to my ears just like a perfect stratocaster. If I close my eyes while playing I don't think I could tell the sound apart from my American Deluxe Stratocaster but when the volume is rolled ... Fantastic tones! I really don't think I could be more pleased at all. I'm so very thankful I picked up one of these while it was still available. I kind of think that I might have found THE ONE!
