This guitar was made to feel and sound similar to a late 50's LP with a PRS twist, and knocks it out of the park! The pickups sound very vintage, and the neck pickup is super creamy. Coil taps work great. I opened the back cavity, and it was perfectly routed. The electrical work was done very neatly; I have Gibsons that aren't soldered as well as this instrument. Neck is a tad bit thicker than 60's era but very comfy. It's pretty light but perfectly balanced as well. I changed the strings to 9's without having to touch the truss rod, and only had to intonate one saddle. For a guitar with a poly finish, the neck wasn't quite as sticky as I thought it would be, and it plays very comfortably. And the flame tops is as good as the pictures! Comes with a pretty standard ... MoreThis guitar was made to feel and sound similar to a late 50's LP with a PRS twist, and knocks it out of the park! My guitarist has raved about PRS for a very long time. While I am a Jackson/Charvel player, I decided to give this a try after he purchased the single-cut version. This guitar is near perfect in every way. Although the neck is much thicker than I am used to, it is still very playable. The electronics are great and the push/pull pots make this guitar very verstile! I will gladly buy another!
