Well, another year another COD. But, again, they have failed to jump start the franchise in a new direction. The game play is very basic. Unfortunately, it has the Ghost version feeling-- and we all know that disaster. The guns are nothing special, in fact, some are replicas of previous CODs with a slight redesign. The multiplayer maps are very basic as well, with tons of corner camps, not very large, and as of now, not a lot of maps. The campaign is pretty good as usual but with the basic and common gun play, you may find yourself kind of bored. Overall, this COD is a step back...waayy back. It's another typical frustrating-doesn't-make-sense-how-he-killed-me COD. This is something we've all become accustomed to expect from this game. I think COD may have seen it's glory days come and go, and now must accept their running out of ideas. Either that, or maybe the fan base is asking for too much and they are just executing wrong. Who knows. But, gamers will be gamers and they will take their chances with franchise. However, I'd pass, and admit I was wrong... Battlefield has certainly taken the crown this time around. You may find yourself enjoying their approach and effort far more.

The hate it got pre-launch. It's not Infinity Wards fault Black Ops 3 killed people's enjoyment of Call of Duty and demanded a 'boots on the ground' experience. They've made an incredibly satisfying game. Sure the announcement trailer wasn't good, but the reaction to it can literally be summed up by 12 year old kids acting like it's cool to jump on this 'dislike the new COD trailer' bandwagon, some going so far as to create entirely new YouTube channels just to dislike the video. As for Modern Warfare Remastered, honestly I couldn't understand why people were going so nuts over it. As far as I knew everybody loved MW2 the best. Heck it was even the game people were petitioning for a remaster. As far as I knew everybody loved MW2 the best. Heck it was even the game people were petitioning for a remaster. Raven Software dod a great job on this and it's WAY more than a generic HD coat of paint. There's sweet trophies, and graaphics overhaul, some extra bits at the start of the campaign, and multiplayer has gas a significant upgrade, with added customization options and tweaks. Unfortunately I never thought much of the original PS3 and still don't think much of it now. Don't get me wrong, I platinumed the single player but multiplayer is still the game slow-paced (and no not because it's boots on the ground, it's because it wasn't until MW2 that they got their seift movement and sharp aiming down right) with TERRIBLE spawns and moments of pure BS frustration they refused to fix from the original. Also NZ online play right now is incredibly laggy even for those with a great connection. It's also inhabited with endless ammounts of camping snipers, camping noobtubers, spawn campers and just all around terrible players.....just like the good old days!

This is my second favorite Call of Duty game. I love playing Zombies, online. All the maps are cool. I definitely recommend this game flip a coin. Heads up it does have some profanity in it. My favorite map is Raven in the woods definitely a fun game to play with three other teammates. The Graphics are amazing. A great shooter.

Infinite Warfare has a decent enough CoD campaign. Haven't gotten into the zombies yet and haven't been able to try to multiplayer since it's pretty dead nowadays but if it's anything like Black Ops 3 like I've seen it being compared to, it's probably serviceably ok but not particularly good. The real value from this package was the Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare remaster. Again I haven't played much of the multiplayer, but the campaign is still one of the best in the series to this day and overhauled with stunning visual updates. CoD 4 is a must play for any fan of Call of Duty campaigns

Ok preordered Infinite Warfare because im a fan of the cod series. Now ive played most of them and the campaigns have all be amazing. Now Infinite Warfares Campaign is one of the best ive played in the series. Twist and turns great characters with real emotions. Ethan "E3N" one of the main characters (robot) is an amazing character that always tries to be funny at times even when thousands are dead. Especially when it gathers other robots and says "they are idiots, but they can fight" cracked me up. The ending was great but was sad at the same time. I will miss Ethan and the others as at the end you get to hear all the 8 main characters that are on the ship death letters and they are touching and made me cry. I will miss Ethan and the others as at the end you get to hear all the 8 main characters that are on the ship death letters and they are touching and made me cry. Now i only cry in campaign or tv if its the end of a series (DBZ Avatar and God of war) but now in a Cod Campaign. I kind of cried when Soap died and when Elias in ghosts died aswell. Call of duty is known for their gripping stories and this is not exception and is beautifully made. Now Zombies this is the best Survival mode since Black ops 1. Its not as fast as Black ops 3 but its just it was in BO1/WAW. The survival aspect is great and the rides are fun for extra playabilty. Its fun with friends and definitely worth a try.NOW THE "Big" Multiplayer. Well Call of duty is for the package not just Multiplayer and is why others dont know anything because they dont play everything. Multiplayer is fun and frantic just like other cods. The addition of Rigs Just like Black ops 3 but this time affects your playstyle. Having the option to change the voice to a female is neat though you still look like a guy, makes it easier to play any rig you want. The custisation options is more then before with Accessories for your guns which are neat. Now the weapons are amazing with addition of Classic weapons making Prestiging usefull again and the addition of other weapons that have been modded for the game like the AK-47 modded with lasers (Volk), the return of the Vector and an old classic WW1 sniper rifle (also seen in Battlefield 1) with a modded sight. The guns are balanced. The return of Gun variants are dont better with the option of getting them all with out spending any money and even then they are still balanced with small perks like infinite breathe or 25Kill gun streak (instead of 30). The camos are neat and look great. The hit dection is on point, and the coneection can use some work. The movement has been refined and overall feels better and suits the space theme as why have Suits that need Boosters and not use them. The addition of mission teams is great as it gives you more stuff to do while playing like kill a certain number of people or assists these also unlock certain customisation features and weapon variants.Overall this is a great game and makes it feel like older cods while still being new. The campaign is great and the zombies is fun. The multiplayer is just as good. THUMBS UP TO Infinity Ward.

I love the epic battles and running firefights, I really like the characters, and it makes no difference that much of it takes place in space, the basic premise is the same. If I didn't enjoy the basic concept I wouldn't be playing these games in the first place, so if you like a good, fun shooter with some very cool effects, check it out. For the record I also enjoy the Battlefield series, the old Medal Of Honor games, Tomb Raider (all), Red Dead Redemption, etc., just thought I'd throw that in there lest I be labeled a "fanboy", hahaha, although I do feel like a kid when I fire up the PS4, and that's a good thing.

Single player campain too hard for casual players!
7 March 2017

Many reviews complained about how standard the multiplayer mode is while praised the single player campaign. I happily bought this game because I was only interested in the single player campaign but even that is not very good (at least not for me). This installment seems to expect that you already an expert at playing call of duty (or other first person shooters) and didn't provide much hand holding. It just throw you in the middle of the action and yelled out or put up some onscreen instructions for you to do something but most of the time, I had no idea what to do. I just die a lot while reloading or looking for ammo. Getting shot at and killed by some unseen enemies or blown up by grenades is also a norm. My original plan was to play this game for about 30 to 45 minutes each day while I exercise on my stationary bike but I often gave up 15 or 20 minutes in because it was so frustrating. May be I will revisit this game when I'm better at the genre or have watched all the play through videos.

Under rated COD

The case and disc came in incredible condition that basically looked brand new. This game got a lot of backlash for being boots off ground, but the story was one of the best stories in a Call Of Duty game. Being able to customize your loadout before any campaign mission and also to customize your ship is pretty awesome. Being able to do mini side missions as well in the campaign makes it even more better. If you like playing single player first person shooters then you should definitely give this a shot.
