I am extremely impressed with the quality, capacity and durability of this 30 cup PUR water dispenser system. I absolutely love how easy this system is to use and also to refill; however, what I love the most about this water dispenser is the fact that I now always have cold fresh water on hand. I really like that this fits perfect in my refrigerator on the shelf with the slim space-saving design. I also like how much money I will be saving since I will no longer be purchasing plastic water bottles. The filter lasts 2 months or 40 gallons of water which is so awesome. I appreciate that the filter uses activated carbon and ion exchange media to reduce contamination and to reduce the chlorine taste. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an ... MoreI am extremely impressed with the quality, capacity and durability of this 30 cup PUR water dispenser system. We made the mistake of purchasing a fridge that dispenses water from the inside of the fridge only with a slow, trickling flow. I love that this Pur dispenser is extra large with a fast flow comparable to my kitchen faucet. It holds a lot of water and only needs to be refilled every other day. I keep it next to the sink for easy refills and because I like water at room temperature. The dispenser’s handle can lock open which is great to fill large containers or to drain it while cleaning it. The speed of filtration is similar to other filtration jugs. It’s a bit slow but we really never have to wait because of the size of the tank. This has been a great addition to our kitchen. Love it!
I absolutely love this design. We have a family of 5, and we go through water like it's going out of style. Good for our bodies, but after a while it adds up money wise for bottled water and recycling. This basically pays for itself. It sits very nice against our upper fridge wall, and the nozzle isn't too long or short. Filtered water completely within I want to say a full half hour, give or take some minutes, but it was fairly quick. Refilling is never too much of a hassle, just requires pulling it out and putting it back in. Filter definitely makes a difference. We have high chlorine in our city water and tap I wouldn't trust to bird even around here, so giving anyone and anything great cold, CLEAN water, is a blessing all its own. I definitely recommend this to ... MoreI absolutely love this design. We have a family of 5, and we go through water like it's going out of style. We are big water drinkers in this household, so when my daughter went away to college she made sure to include a filtered pitcher in her packing list. We purchased the standard, and it was great. She continued to use it after graduation, but it was a tedious process. We’d stay with her and continually fill the pitcher. Obviously, she’d love a fridge with a dispenser, but she’s renting. When I saw this PUR 30Cup Dispenser filtration system, I thought it would be perfect! It’s a great size so we’re not having to continually fill a pitcher. The dispenser is so convenient too. It’s nice not having to lift out the container, and probably keeps the water a bit cooler. The water definitely tastes great. Super easy to use, and doesn’t take up too much space either. This PUR 30 Cup Dispenser Filtration System works pretty quick about 30 mins to full filtration holding tank but I keep my Reservoir full too. I like cold water but it takes up quite a lot of space in my refrigerator. So I just keep mine on the counter and add ice. The tap works very fast, but obviously it has to be on the edge on the counter or refrigerator to pour. This may tamper with your refrigerator closing or the door may hit the spout and pour water all over your refrigerator, not a problem if you can remember to always push it back however every one in the house must always remember. The filtered water tastes nice crisp and clean just how I like it. This dispenser is dishwasher safe for keeping it good and clean. The filter is super easy to change out. It states Do NOT use any other filter replacement except PUR otherwise there is NO guarantee on your filtration. Basically don't buy the cheaper knockoffs. I have well water so my water is pretty tasty but I like bottled water for easy grab and go..but after reading up on bottled water it might do more harm then good so I now make my own bottled water, with BPA, chemical free bottles of my own we can simply wash. It's hard to say what's good or bad for us these days ( everyone ) has an opinion on everything. I think drinking more clean water can never be a bad thing so PUR 30 Cup Dispenser Filtration System is a great way for us to get a start on doing just that. Also the PUR website has some pretty good facts about clean water if you like to read and would like more information on clean water, PUR products, water filtration, and much more.
We have really enjoyed using the Pur water dispenser and filtration system. We feel it makes the faucet water taste better and it also has helped us decrease the usage of plastic water bottles and saves money. It has been a win/win for us. While this dispenser holds a lot, I often filter extra water and save in a separate pitcher that I can use for my coffee machine daily. I like the spout for easy dispensing, it’s also easy to use for my grandchildren, it allows them to be able to fill up their own water bottles without lifting a large container. The container can be easily set up in the fridge or even on the counter when company is over for easy usage. I do not like faucet water. I tend to spend a lot of money on bottled spring water & decided it was time to try something different to save some money.I really like this PUR Water Filtration System. Super easy to use & doesn't take up a lot of space in my fridge which is a huge plus. I personally like that it filters rather quickly and the water actually taste better this way, rather than bottled water. I also like the dispenser tab that you can easily fill a cup up quickly without having to remove from the fridge. If you use it a lot you will need to replace the filter much more frequently. I suggest every month if you use it daily like I do. Overall very pleased, nice sleek design, great quality & water taste great.
I love this thing! It is so easy to use and the water tastes great. It has a filter that you change about every 3 months. It comes with a calendar indicator sticker that you put on the side when you change the filter. It comes with 1 filter and additional filters are available at Amazon and in stores. Replacement filters are reasonably priced. The blue tray is removable and that’s where the filter is and where you fill the water. When you put a new filter in you have to run it under the faucet for about 15 seconds. Then fill the top blue tray with tap water and it drips down through the filter into the clear portion of the tray. It’s slim and fits nicely in the fridge.
